    Well this tweet is several hours old as Mahle was already traded. Wouldn't put much stock in it.

    Bass is weird. 4-seamer slider guy at the start of his career. Then suddenly starts throwing a splitter 20% of the time. Was a sinker/slider guy with the Blue Jays in 2020 getting 62% groundballs, mostly scrapping the splitter. Now he throws sliders almost 60% of the time.

    2006 was the first year I watched the Blue Jays. We had just got satellite tv and I guess my dad put on the season opener. I remember it was Halladay vs. Johan Santana. Super quick game. Both pitchers might have went the distance but I'm not sure. I think I remember in the post-game they said there were no walks in the game. I think I watched virtually every inning of the remainder of the season. It was actually a pretty fun team.

    I didn't start watching until 2006. My first game was that summer vs Seattle. Extra inning game. The Blue Jays loaded the bases with no outs in the bottom of the 11th. Frank Catalanotto had a walk-off single after there were two outs. https://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/TOR/TOR200607160.shtml I thought it was Shaun Marcum making his first start after moving from the bullpen. But apparently I'm remembering that wrong. That was a few days later apparently.
