    His talk show is terrible and his breath just reeks of condescension when he gets a dumber caller. WITH THAT SAID though I like his play by play commentary and I actually kinda love it when he loses his mind over a clutch HR. I still prefer Jerry obviously but Wilner's commentary is honestly not that bad and he has a decent radio voice.

    The greatest constructed sequence of batters my eyes have ever seen, the printscreen of this lineup is memeable. I'll say they scratch and claw and somehow pull 3 runs out of their asses but Lawrence shits the bed and we lose 6-3

    If you told me Dansby would be traded for Miller straight up in my opinion it would be in the Diamondbacks favour. Miller was coming off of a career year in ATL and contrary to popular belief is not that bad. Average SP's don't just grow on trees yo! It was the inclusion of Blair and Inciarte that turned that trade into the lopsided mess people remember today.

    At the time of the trade I hated it for the reasons you already mentioned but looking back I've changed my mind. At the time we were trotting out trash like Scott Copeland and god knows what else every 5th day. As soon as we made the trade the rotation stabilized and we went on that ridiculous run. It's a difficult task to determine what exactly the financial benefit of the Price trade was in the long-run but I definitely feel like it boosted the team's morale and made it an easy decision for guys like Estrada to want to resign. I know a lot of people will say we won because our team was just good but I truly believe that the momentum started by the Price trade fostered a winning environment for that season and the following one. Now do I think that AA's methods are sustainable? Hell f***ing no, but the Price trade is not one you'll ever hear me complain about.

    I get that they're just working on specific pitches but it definitely can't be a good feeling to repeatedly get shelled by minor leaguers, it's a good thing he's mentally tougher than me!

    I was never a Barry fan but the alternatives are rather grim. Hazel has the IQ of a trophy wife minus the good looks. (OK she's not that bad but she's obviously way past her prime) Arash is just a good radio voice that asks cringeworthy/cliche questions all the damn time. I swear to god I felt like knocking him out after he asked David Price about popcorn at least 5 times during his first press conference. How about asking him about you know, PITCHING or ANYTHING RELATED TO BASEBALL.

    Am I the only one that likes this idea? If you can pick him up cheap he's an extremely solid backup infielder that can be used in a pinch when any of JD, Tulo, Travis get hurt.

    No such thing as a bad minor league deal. Just gotta pray he can throw some heat and make the pen, he seems all but washed up as a starter.

    He probably would but I just can't see a guy with his kind of work ethic half assing it when the season actually starts. He respects his teammates way too much to not give it his all, he ain't Vince Carter.
