    This guy is known to be a perennial spring training monster that flames out/gets hurt quickly. With that said I'm disappointed but if this is the worst news to come out of spring training I'll take it 99 times out of 100. I remember being so deflated last year when Yates got season ending TJS, this year *knock on wood* we've been pretty blessed.

    Anyone find the ticket prices are a little cheaper than usual? I could have sworn 100 levels last year were starting at $100 but from what I've seen you can get some from 70-80 bucks. Maybe demand isn't as high as people are still afraid of Covid? I got 2 tickets for the Texas game next Sunday and from what I've seen there's still TONS of availability. Can't say I'm complaining though, time to get drunk with the lady and watch the Jays s*** on Texas for the umpteenth time

    I'm a youngin' that's never seen him play (born in 92). Definitely a little recency bias in my post, can't deny it. I've watched a fair bit of the 92/93 world series runs and Alomar seemed so important to both. If you were to rate the greatest Blue Jay post season homers Alomar's HR off of Eckersley has got to be top 3, such an important moment.

    Alomar, Delgado, Halladay, Bautista Are there actual baseball arguments for excluding Alomar or is this purely because the guy was a ******** off the field?

    In my eyes both teams got what they want. Jays shed a little salary, add a pinch runner for the Manfred man games, lefty with more upside than Grich. Rockies add a flyball hitting slugger to take advantage of Coors. Tapia seems pointless at Coors when he's just hitting ground balls, at least Grich can get some cheap homers. Don't see a "winner" to this trade unless Pinto turns into an actual major leaguer, pretty damn even.

MLBPA leadership has yet to comment on this, but will probably capitulate.

    hate, HATE the new extra innings rules. I think it would be more tolerable if the runner was on 2nd and the inning started with 1 out. 0 outs is just brutal
