Yea , good point , for sure they came back and won one . Still you put Davis in there too and the season he had is huge compared to McGowan. I still think of those games against the Royals in Late april the bull pen blew

I'm well aware that King and GD are good posters and valuable to this board. King is a major contributor and I do like most of his posts. I'm just pointing out that when you dish it out expect to get it back and the board is made up of tons of posters with different views and ridiculing them all the time does not help build the board .

Or even longer. This is another of those Rogers thinking only about money. Turf makes a lot more money for it's multi use than if they put in grass. i doubt we see grass at Roger center unless MLB demands it.

What is worse is the Padres asked for Fransisco and a couple of MEH prospects and NO money and AA didn't want to part with Francisco

If you look at the bench composition with Lind at DH there just is no room for Fransisco even if his defense was OK and his K rate down . Defense was horrible and he can't hit the offspeed stuff.

Seems totally stupid to spend money on new Turf. Just put the frigging grass in if you are going to do it anyway . I wish MLB would set a date that all stadiums have grass and that would also solve the Tampa situation.

So they spend a fortune changing the turf. Does this mean no grass? Starting to think the grass is a pipe dream. Not Reyes fault he gets hurt on this frigging turf. Yes he should move to 2nd which I'm sure would help the defense but this turf change isn't just for Reyes,s benefit.

If you want to dish it out GD you need to be able to take it and not hide behind the Kid label. Too many on this board like to ridicule everyone not in their selected group but can't take anything back. This board does not exist without a bunch of posters supporting it.

The team can handle Gose in center with his defense and speed but 3 of them is a killer. The back end of the bull pen that was an expected strength sucked and may be the easiest place to add wins if they resign Melky. I see Sanchez getting stuck in a bull pen role next year and that will hurt down the road a year.

The whole off season is totally dependent on the budget and the ability to get a free agent to come here which is why exercising Lind,s option is the most logical thing to do. He is cheap and already under contract. Won't matter who they have at DH if you have 3 outs at the bottom of the lineup in Pillar, Goins/Valencia, and Gose. Between those 3 outs and a bad bull pen I doubt that is a 500 team.
