Bull Pen was bad this year. Moving Cecil up will only weaken it. If the jays had the KC bull pen this year they would be in the play off picture.

He has always been old for the leagues he played in so I'm wary of his MILB stats . That said we need one of Gose or Pillar to hit. He actually took a walk the other day, his first in the majors I believe and while it is a SSS it still glares out at me.

They need to create the hype in the offseason to get the season ticket sales and packages but still need to play meaningful games to draw the casuals. I would be booking flights and tickets if I knew that series against Seattle or Baltimore was going to decide a playoff spot. Hard to create hype when Free Agents don't want to play here.

Cecil, Loup, Redmond and Jenkins will be there next year. Drabek will get a shot but he has no options left so I can't see him making the team. I have a bad feeling Sanchez is headed to the pen. I see them signing one good pen arm. Hopefully more cause the pen was bad this year.

I have always been the downer guy when it comes to Rogers and payroll. TV numbers are supposed to be up so Rogers can easily afford a 140 ish payroll . Just don't believe they will.

Only 28,633 at today,s game. Pretty disappointing as that is below the yearly average. We were 14th in attendance last year and we are at 16 so far in 2014 down around 1700 per game so we are gaining as we were down 2000 per game awhile back.

Are you the one drinking? If either the A,s or the M,s go on a run and get the one wild card spot and KC or the Tigers go on a run and beat up the other then the Jays have a shot at getting the 2nd WC spot . Unless that happens Jays could win most of their games and still be out. You can't figure that out?

Better if the A,s get their act together and take control of that division and one of KC or Detroit doing the same. jays can't win their way into a WC spot. they one in each division to start losing big time.

No power, not enough speed and not an elite defender . He would have to hit at a 320 ish clip with lots of doubles and improve in all the fore mentioned areas to be a starter.That said I see him on the roster as the 4th OF due to cost

Just heard it on high heat. Should have known the twitter world would have it sooner. Big blow to the O,s but i don't feel sorry for them . I wonder if he got turned down for his exemption this year and started back on it in August . He has 9 HRs in August. Buck says the timing sucks and it does for the O,s but the timing is great for the Jays.

Voters will use this as an excuse why he doesn't win it when in fact it was because the marlins aren't in the playoff picture. Seems like Kershaw is a shoo in now.

Sounds like it isn't as bad as it looked. That looked really bad. Stanton was on an MVP type run.
