I've thought this for years. Bring on the helicopter bats! Very easy for a bat to just "slip" out of a batters hand in the pitchers direction, happens all the time but is usually off to the side.

They’ve made bigger changes to the mound before. Moving it back 1ft is less intrusive than the 5” drop.

No different than changing the mound height. If anything I’d think a mound height change would throw them off even more.

It’s not symmetrical now? Pitcher mound is closer to home plate than second.

No. Why would the bases have to be moved? Moving the bases around just because they moved the mound back a foot, now that would be ridiculous

This is my thinking. If he pitched the 9th tonight he wouldn’t be available tomorrow to close say a 1 or 2 run game with the top of the order up. -
And if you don’t want it as the default, you can just view it. In the filter, click on any of the “days back”, it should auto return to your team. Go into the filter again and change the “from date” to today so that the from and to are the same.
