  1. Which I guess means your wife is pretty easy huh. If Tellez can even hit it.
  2. Bryant should also be cheapish. And we wouldn't have to commit money past this year.
  3. There seems to be so many injuries this season? Are the players just getting weaker
  4. They would probably take either. And would get neither. Wonder what Bryant would cost though? He'd look some nice over there at 3B.
  5. He's the type of player that would go to another team and then start raking. That 98 percentile exit velocity.
  6. Just seen this, but would like to point out you're absolutely wrong(like usual). He can be DFA'd off the 40-man if we wanted to clear space for some of our other prospects expected to get the call this year, or if someone is acquired from another team.
  7. Hopefully he goes back down to the minors and gets back to hitting like he did late last year.
  8. Imagine the feeling of owning both Vlad and Soto
  9. Exactly! I know from experience. Everything tastes more delicious after numerous beers.
  10. Or depends how many tall boys you’ve had.
  11. Using Ump Scorecards from 1 day(yesterday's games) and going by the +/- run differential for each team 4.69 more runs should have been scored yesterday. The biggest overall favour of the day was the WSH/PHI game. The Phillies had a +1.3 runs called in their favour. WSH had a minus 1.02 runs with PHI at a plus .28 runs.
  12. Our bullpen as a whole has the 3rd lowest ERA at 2.87. It's only beat by Cleveland(2.59) and the Padres(2.64).
  13. Good chance it does lead to more offense. The most common mistake is probably a ball being called a strike.
  14. No way could it be any worse. Even if the tech is off, it would be consistently off, not at random calls throughout the game.
  15. Bluejays and Redsox at the opposite ends of the table. Redsox have played 10 games against Baltimore already. And a series against each of the two worst team in the AL, Minnesota and Detroit.
  16. It’s so nice having a bat like Vlad in the lineup
  17. I'd shrink the strike zone and bring in robo-umps. In 1996 the bottom of the strike zone was moved from top of the knees to the bottom of the knees. Move it back to the top of the knees.
  18. Whole division is gonna make the playoffs. Then you have the Cheesecake division
  19. Probably not. And this shows the more likely outcome for J-Rod.
  20. Fact is J-Rod is a prospect. A very good one, ranked 3rd by some lists. Know who else was ranked that high? Giolito. Only difference is J-Rod has yet to play above A+, and Giolito has been the 9th most valuable pitcher in the MLB since the beginning of 2019.
  21. Not sure you understand what cherry picking is. I used the stats for the seasons since he made a huge change and unlocked his potential. If you put that much stock in the first month of the season for a starting pitcher I have a Cole Irvin I’d like to sell.
  22. I’d wonder what Steamers preseason thoughts were. Might be weighing too heavily on that one game he got shelled.
