  1. I don't think there are any at the moment. We just cut down from 20 teams to 16 this past offseason. If you stick around though I'm sure there'll be openings eventually. Seems like we lose 1-2 guys each year or so.
  2. When would be the best time to buy tickets for Monday's game? Also, I've been looking at 2 different sites. Stubhub and SeatGeek, is one better then the other, or are there better sites out there?
  3. Makes sense. Don't put extra thoughts in his head. He should just worry about making the pitch that Martin calls for. Martin would be the player that would be watching all the film and coming up with a game plan for each batter. Estrada doesn't call his own pitches.
  4. The stats for their WHOLE CAREER says they hit RHP better. How is that unregressed?
  5. Why should they clearly be better against lefties? Just because they bat right handed doesn't mean they hit lefties better... Jones, Machado and Schoop all hit RHP better than LHP for their career.
  6. Are you guys starting Estrada Tuesday on short rest or something?
  7. Is there a tie breaker game if the Bluejays and O's are tied in the top 2 wildcard spots with Detroit one game back of both? Or do they just use season record against each other to decide who has the home field advantage for the Wildcard game?
  8. I would love to have Beer on my team.
  9. Ya, I just read that spin rate article, didn't know that until today. His K-rate is kinda low as a starter though, hoping he can can bring it up a little closer to what it was in the minors. But I'd much rather the Dodgers decide Wood's in the rotation so that way I can keep him instead.
  10. Reading this made me want to map out mine. My number 20 spot leaves starters Seth Lugo and Alex Wood fighting for it at the moment. It's a long offseason though.
  11. I'm not sure that there is a way to assign everyone to waivers. If there is a way, this is what I'd do.
  12. I actually went on a 3 day bender this past weekend.
  13. I agree, doesn't really matter in this case, Peacock sucks. But I feel if it's a waiver claim it should be legal. You could have the final 2 teams dropping keeper worthy players to stream pitchers. I think the other teams should be allowed to put in claims for those players.
  14. Peacock was picked up off waivers which means that Silvergun could have put the claim in before the end of the playoffs, and it just wasn't processed until today.
  15. WAR Pigs Trade Block Charlie Blackmon - CF Cameron Rupp - C Ender Inciarte - CF Eugenio Suárez - 3B Didi Gregorius - SS Alex Wood - SP Chase Anderson - SP Seth Lugo - SP Matt Boyd - SP Francis Martes - SP Corey Knebel - RP Edubray Ramos - RP Jason Grilli - RP Scrap Heap (aka free) Jesse Hahn - SP Erik Johnson - SP I'm looking for a SS this offseason. I'd also move players not listed here because I move pieces around without a plan or direction.
  16. I think you'd 100% have to give compensation. No difference between OD'ing and getting killed while drinking and driving.
  17. I'll take Jhonas Enroth instead I guess
  18. Took Antti Raanta
  19. I took Eddie Lack. Someone wanna email the next guy?
  20. We only see the head there. Who's to say he doesn't have a swimmers body himself.
  21. He's also up again right after the guy that picks after him.
