  1. I've said McCarthy has been a very good pitcher this season, though I have to disagree on him being one of the best pitchers in baseball to date. It's absurd to rank him in a tier with Tanaka, Kershaw, Felix, Wainwright, Sale etc.
  2. They did steal him, not denying that. I would have loved to see the Jays trade Jenkins for him. But I don't consider McCarthy one of the best pitchers in baseball.
  3. I've been an avid McCarthy supporter and I know the advanced metrics show he hasn't been that bad, though to say he's been one of the best pitchers in the NL is going a bit far.
  4. The Jays should go out and get Justin Ruggiano.
  5. I only made two posts, one in the BBDL thread because that was the first one I saw, and then in this thread. Like seriously calm down.
  6. Look at the post above...I said I received messages on the pro board site. I usually check on the message board here. I now linked any pm's sent on the pro boards site to my email.

How about Kevin Durant? I hope OKC chokes in the playoffs again, and Im sure he'll want to move somewhere else.
  8. I'd like to see two teams in a dynasty league make a trade involving players traded in real life, though that would be tough to do. Never think I saw it happen.
  9. Felix Hernandez Clayton Kershaw Masahiro Tanaka Adam Wainwright Chris Sale 5 best starters in baseball right now
  10. I checked on the ProBoards site and got messages there. I have to set up where I get notified on my gmail since I don't check frequently on those sites as I do on the message board.
  11. I take Alex Tuch
  12. Buy me a couple pints of beer and I'll give you a real hug
  13. Nobody messaged me. I'll make my pick ASAP.
  14. McCarthy has actually been very good this season. Look past the 5 ERA and W-L record, and he's been an effective starter.
  15. More like Pomeranz, though yeah doesn't make much sense
  16. I wouldn't mind seeing the Jays go after one of the A's excess starters now...
  17. I typed "Juan Francisco" in the google search engine and those weird images popped up again haha
  18. Don't forget Juan Francisco
  19. $11 million for Kazmir has been a bargain so far.
  20. Oakland is doing the same thing this year with Kazmir and Chavez.
  21. I've always been a huge Scott Downs fan. You can never have enough pitching and he can be a decent LHP out of the pen.
  22. I found it the toughest trading Kyle Lohse by himself and the guy has been a great fantasy No. 2 starter, similar to Lackey. My price tag wasn't that expensive and there were many teams in contention that passed. I had to package him with some other vet pieces to get something good back, which I was willing to do. Might have to do the same with Lackey. I find many managers on here undervalue solid veteran hitters and pitchers. If you're contending, a pitcher like Lohse or Lackey can be a huge upgrade to any rotation.

The Leafs are not built as a team that could play a full 82 game season, let alone the playoffs.

I think Greivis Vasquez could be a decent starting point guard. He averaged 13.9 PPG with 9 APG and 4.3 RPG just two years ago.
