  1. And Tillman with a solid start. I don't think we need commissioners to process deals involving players on Yahoo. Once a deal is accepted, it goes through. In the FC league, that system has been working and fine. I think we have a strong group of guys in this league, that we shouldn't worry about anyone making boneheaded lopsided moves to tank their team.
  2. Trade was accepted around 10:30-11 I believe, so it wasn't that late. I'm just saying that if it didn't have to have a commissioner approval to process it, the deal would have taken into effect for today. I don't see why we need a commissioner approval involving players through Yahoo, since there is really no weak link in this league.
  3. I think the trading process on Yahoo involving players should just be once a deal is confirmed, the deal gets processed automatically instead of waiting for a commissioner to process it. I would have liked to have used the doubleheader for Nelson Cruz today and the start by Tillman, which now I won't be able to.
  4. I'd like this deal to take effect for tomorrow. Is any commish on to process the deal?
  5. If one of the Darrell's could process the trade, it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!
  6. Am I in this league? I never got the invite on Yahoo.
  7. You never helped driving up the price for Tulo when he was on the block
  8. Things do change quickly in baseball, though that doesn't still change the fact that he'll be 35 next season, and that the last couple of years in Texas he hasn't been anything special or "elite" as you describe.
  9. Cruz is having a great season, but he's not a Top 25 player in fantasy baseball moving forward. He'll hit for above average power, though he's not an .OBP machine and its not like he's a threat to hit 40-45 HR's like an EE or someone.
  10. Would you be saying the same last season?
  11. I may have interest in him to stash on my DL, though wouldn't part with anything significant.
  12. I know, it's just that NJH is reaping the rewards in the DDL after I dropped him back at the end of April ugh
  13. Also, I hope we see Gibbons use Dickey like he has today - let him keep pitching deep into the game if he's doing his job. I don't care what his pitch count is, let him go 7, 8 or 9 innings every time out. It shouldn't effect him. Save the bullpen. It peeves me off to see him only going 5-6 innings.
  14. It's hilarious how he needs to be pampered - roof closed, Henry Blanco, Josh Thole as his personal catcher. What else does he need?
  15. I just googled "Juan Francisco" and look at the google images that pop up.
  16. Hopefully Bautista isn't out that long. This is where having depth becomes important and AA never did much to address the bench during the offseason. I'm guessing they should platoon Kawasaki and Tolleson at second base while Lawrie is out and start Francisco at 3B against RHP. If Lind hits the DL, then a DH is needed. I'd even consider calling up Gose and rotate each outfielder Rasmus, Bautista and Cabrera out of the DH spot.
  17. RA Dickey has been a burden on this roster. Carrying Josh Thole as his personal catcher weakens the lineup and the bench. And it's not like Dickey has been pitching like a Cy Young winner, so I don't see how much worse having Erik Kratz behind the plate catching him.
  18. xFIP has it's place, though it goes to show you that it's not the ONLY THING in the world!
  19. Keep dreaming.
