  1. Meh, I like my roster that ended this season in 7th place better than yours moving forward. At the end of the day, not much of a difference between finishing 5th or 7th.
  2. Who wants to drive down to Pittsburgh on Wednesday?
  3. They are adding seats to BMO, so they'd be able to put a football field there. The TFC are awful and a joke of a franchise. I could see MLSE buying the Argos for 50 cents on the dollar and they have the prefect venue for the Argos to have success. Put the Argos in a beautiful stadium like BMO Field by the lake with 26,000-27,000 capacity and if the Argos start winning I'm sure they could have much better attendance numbers at BMO Field vs. the RC. Also, MLSE has money, so if they want to sign a big name retired or washed up NFL vet to sell more tickets and jerseys, I'm sure they'd do it. The CFL as a league is also on the upswing, so this is a perfect buy low for MLSE.
  4. I even beat you in the consolation round this week!

f*** the Panthers! Awful game today all around - they played like crap.
  6. Argos likely moving to BMO Field which is a great move for the organization. I'm sure once BMO Field is ready for football games, the Argos and Blue Jays will both agree to terminate the lease agreement.
  7. Congrats North, was rooting for you in the finals!
  8. I'd love to see a tiebreaker tomorrow between the A's and Mariners.
  9. $12 million for Kuroda would be a bargain. He's been one of the most consistent starters in baseball and has proven he can pitch well in the AL East. He's been worth between 3.5 - 4 WAR the last three season in the Bronx. Sliding him into the rotation with Dickey, MB, Stroman and Hutch would look pretty nice. He's a significant upgrade over JA Happ.
  10. I think you could possibly get Shields on a 4-5 year deal, nothing more since he's going to be 33 next season. He'd be a great fit at the top of the rotation. If not, then even going after a solid vet like Kuroda wouldn't hurt. Shields Dickey MB Stroman Hutchison AAA: Sanchez, Nolin, Norris BP: Capuano, Jenkins (long men capable of making starts) The Jays are 10 starters deep right there, even if they trade Happ.
  11. I like Happ at his option, he's a solid No. 5 starter, though if they Jays are going to eventually have Sanchez in the rotation, the Jays better trade Happ to help fill out other areas on the team. I'd go out and sign Chris Capuano as a swingman for $2-3 million with an option + incentives - he could pitch out of the pen, and start as well. He'd be a valuable piece to have for depth if the Jays decide to move Happ.
  12. It should have been weighed more since Day 1. Shouldn't take 4 years on the job to figure that out!
  13. It was Paul Konerko Day! CHW were destined to win!
  14. How long is he out for?
  15. Is Svedberg going to start with Rask there?
  16. what team are you?
  17. I love Kluber!

  20. This is about Hamilton and Soriano. Please leave Puig and the 2nd rounder out of it - they didn't do anything!
  21. Pretty sad how some posters on here have disregarded one of the all-time greats in this game. I'm not a Yankees fan or a Derek Jeter fan, though he has been an ambassador for baseball over the past two decades. He's had a great career, and was a professional every step of the way. You can't say that about every baseball player, let alone athlete. I'm glad I witnessed his last game in the Bronx. Like I said, if you can't appreciate what just happened tonight, your not a baseball fan.
