I would have rested him mid season and then save his arm for down the stretch and into the postseason. Even limiting his innings per start (instead of going 7 or 8, make the max 6). Thing is once you're in the postseason, you may never have that type of opportunity again. I love the Mets moving forward, though I'm sure Washington makes some significant moves this offseason and improves. Sucks for fans, though I understand Harvey's situation as well.
