Raps are lucky they have home court for Game 7. They need to play like they did in Game 1 and 5 at home. Getting off to a great start is so important. Lowry, Gasol, Ibaka and Green have to show up for the game tomorrow. They need to hit their 3's and can't afford to all go 5 for 26 again from beyond the arc. Play a tight rotation again so we see very little of Vanvleet and Powell. Leonard needs to play 40 + minutes again or even 45 mins if it's a close game. I worry about the refs making bad calls in a very close game. They could keep the Raps momentum in check if they want and could help Philly stick around. That's why I hope the Raps can blow them out like they did in Game 1 and 5.

  3. Is Hudson being used as an opener or being transitioned back into a starter?

They should play Leonard 45 mins on Sunday for Game 7.
  5. And then he'll be put on the trade block.
  6. Cristiano Ronaldo is the GOAT. Messi can bow down to him.
  7. Danny Santana still doesn't get on-base enough. His numbers will drop-off in a big way soon IMO. Cesar Hernandez is likely the best bet. He get's on-base at a high clip, and does have some gap power. Plus he's been hot at the plate over the last little while. I think Dozier is done. He's going the way of Dan Uggla with the bat.
  8. He'll be on the trade block soon in Oakland.
  9. I had a healthy breakfast today.
  10. Who is Travis Bergen?

Raps can offer him an extra $50 million. That's a lot to turn down. Raps could also offer him load management, sitting him 15-20 games without really hurting the teams chance at a high seed or playoff spot in the East. Also, from the looks of it, Leonard doesn't like the media attention/spotlight, so Toronto is a better fit than a market like LA or New York. Could be a significant factor as well. As long as he knows he has a chance at winning an NBA Championship in Toronto for the next 4-5 years, get a good amount of rest during the season, I don't know why he wouldn't want to stay. Best chance to get to an NBA Finals is in the East IMO, especially if the Bucks can't keep Giannis after.

They all need to play better offensively or else this team isn't getting to the NBA Finals, let alone getting by the 76ers.
  13. Beckham has 3B and SS. Currently I have Arenado at 3B and Polanco at SS, with Marwin Gonzalez as my super utility guy. I think Beckham can match his 2017 numbers or even surpass them somewhat. His low. OBP isn't that good of a fit for this league however. But if he hits 20-25 HR's which I think he will, he's a valuable piece.
  14. If I didn't have Arenado and Polanco, I would be all over this.

They all finally showed up for like the first time this series. Will they all produce on Tuesday as well? Otherwise, all 3 have been pretty horrible this series offensively. If it wasn't for Leonard, the Raptors would have been swept by the 76ers. If this team still had DeRozan, there is no way they win Game 4 yesterday. Leonard has played above and beyond whereas the rest of this Raptors team (other than Siakam) have been nonexistent. Leonard is the one carrying this team on his shoulders right now.
  16. It's embarrassing. I hope the Twins win the AL Central.

Agreed. Raptors could have easily led by a larger margin if they nailed some of those open looks from beyond the arc. Green, Gasol, Lowry, and Siakam need to drop those in. Ibaka shouldn't even be shooting 3's. Some sloppy turnovers and they need to improve slightly on closing possessions. I believe Philly outnumbered them on offensive boards again. Nurse did a good job today playing his best 5-6 players for majority of the game. He needed to do that with so much on the line. Leonard needs to play 40 mins per game moving forward, no excuses. Needs to be in at the 10 min mark in the 4th quarter all the time. FVF was garbage again today - I'd try with giving Lin a look next time if you need someone to play 4-5 mins.
  18. This might be the first time me saying this, but I do for once have a lot of SP available right now. Give me a shout.
  19. I miss Shulman, otherwise I don't have a problem with their crew now. I think A-Rod has done a fantastic job.
  20. Likely will have another setback and those weeks will turn into months.

This is the most important game of the season for the Raptors. He better go today, even if he isn't 100%.

Warriors look like they could be beatable in a 7 game series. This is the Raptors best chance in the history of the franchise probably to ever win an NBA Championship. If they don't get by the 76ers, what a wasted opportunity.
  23. I'd rather his bat in the lineup instead of Brito or a player like Hanson.

And it's the same right calf that he used to trip Embiid. I would be shocked if he doesn't give it a go tomorrow with so much on the line in G4. The Raps had two days off as well.
