  1. Would definitely call up Yesavage and see what he can do out of the pen. Got nothing to lose at this point!
  2. 4.91 FIP and -0.3 fWAR now as well damn. What happened? 3.34 xFIP though.
  3. Ah so earlier banked wins are a thing now? Last season, the phrases flying around on here was that "it's still early" when the Jays lost a winnable game in April/May. When I myself said and other posters said its important to bank wins early, that was dismissed.
  4. Definitely this afternoon is a must-win to stop the bleeding and to gain some confidence back. Would be a disappointment if they ended their homestand 2-4.
  5. Priester is overrated. Only a 7.29 K/9 and 4.37 FIP and 0.9 fWAR. Hasn't been as good as advertised. Jays should crush him!
  6. Was thinking regarding the Blue Jays BP struggle, maybe the pen arms have been overworked as a whole this season, though they rank 13th in terms of total innings (493). BB/9 is the alarming concern: Jays BP ranks 8th worst with a 3.98 BB/9 which is behind teams like the Nationals, Athletics, Reds, Angels, Orioles, Rockies, and White Sox. Not a great group to be bunched in with. The Jays bullpen is in the middle of the pack when it comes to HR/9 and FIP. Overall, this has been a real tough stretch, but like others have said, let's hope its just a blip on the radar, and that things normalize in September and heading into October. Seems like it's just a rough stretch.
  7. Probably one of my worst trades in the history of Fantasy Baseball and one the Giants organization definitely regrets. It's too bad that Shea during his time with the Giants never showed this type of offensive production, otherwise, he still would have been a Giant today. We're excited to see what Eloy can do with the Blue Jays. He's still only 28 and some serious raw pop. As a lottery ticket, we're hoping he can work his way into the fold in 2026.
  8. I would try him out in the pen. Wonder where he lands now.
  9. Should erect a statue of Spanky at the northwest corner of Yonge and Bloor. If they can spend tax payers dollars renaming Dundas Square to Sankofa Square, I'm sure there are enough funds in the city budget for this project.
  10. If the Jays can't hold onto first place in the AL East, must tar and feather Atkins and all his homeboys!
  11. I'll meet you there for a beer anytime Spanky! 🍻
  12. Would be pissed if this was on Apple TV lol
  13. Should be a fun matchup tonight! Bieber's first home start!
  14. You need to get Bieber ready for the playoffs, and in order to do that he needs to pitch every 5th day to get into his routine and to build up innings. Lastly, you need him pitching in some of these important series against the Yankees and Red Sox since they're breathing down their necks.
  15. Haha https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/ex-rangers-yankees-all-star-mark-teixeira-announces-u-s-congressional-run-in-texas/
  16. Would have been cool to see Jacob Misiorowski pitch in this series.
  17. I know its meaningless in the big picture, but Springer has to be the team MVP this season.
  18. Nice to see Hoffman bounce back tonight and JS sticking with him! He's our guy and when he's going right, he can be dominant!
