Sad this stuff is even happening in Toronto. Let alone, in the west end in Etobicoke which is a pretty safe part of the city.
  2. And fantasy owners haha.
  3. I would roll the dice on him for maybe two or so weeks and see what he does. Doesn't hurt.
  4. Derek Dietrich would be a nice cheap option, but hasn't played since 2019. Whatever happened to Yasiel Puig? haha.
  5. Yeah ideally if you can get a left handed bat to DH, would be better. Bell is going to cost a hefty price and I'm sure other teams will be interested. Though I'm okay with this team going all-in if it means greatly improving the roster. Another solid option I think would be Mike Moustakas. Can also play a little third and first if you need him to and he's starting to come around with the bat now. Volgelbach might not be a bad option as well. For their careers, Mancini and Pham have hit RHP pitching pretty well, so not really too concerned with them as options.
  6. Tommy Pham or Trey Mancini would be nice adds, and might not cost as much in terms of assets.
  7. The Jays are just stuck in a rut right now. Losing 3 of 4 in Cleveland, the Yankees and playing at the Trop. Tampa can throw out at any arm and shut down the Jays bats. Hoping with the Jays back at home, playing against the Mariners, they can get their bats rolling.
  8. Starting to see more high scoring games. Even the Dodgers/Phillies series was very high scoring for the first two games. Also, most bats who had awful starts are starting to come around over their last 6 or 7 games. I've noticed that from even just reading fantasy notes on Fantrax haha.

Dallas vs. Golden State will be a fun series. Would love to see Doncic bring the Mavs to the Finals! Boston vs. Miami will be great as well. I think the Celtics though can beat them.

I wanna see a battle of Alberta!
  11. Should I drop Jorge Alcala or Joey Lucchesi from my IL in a 20-team dynasty league?
  12. I haven't made a trade in 3 years, send me offers!

Leafs needed Matthews or Marner to be that guy last night, and they weren't.

I think the head coach and for sure Dubas has to make a big move to shake things up by moving one of their main core pieces. Matthews, Marner, Taveras, Nylander for the last two-three seasons haven't shown they can even win a first round playoff matchup.

How many years in a row with Matthews and Marner + their main core have the Leafs not won a playoff series? I understand when Matthews and Marner were rookies or second year players, but if they can't win a playoff series when both are in their prime, healthy and have a great roster on paper around them, then like you said something major needs to be done in the offseason. If the Leafs can't even win a first round matchup with their core, what makes people think they can ever win a Stanley Cup with this current group!
  17. Think of Bo as an Ian Kinsler with the bat.
  18. I bet $50 on the Dodgers last night. Geez

I still believe in two outcomes: 1) Tampa scores a couple of goals early and win in a blowout. Tampa needs to score 4 or 5 goals because the last two games, they were up 2-0 and couldn't hold the Leafs in check. 2) Close game that goes right down to the end of the game or OT (similar to Game 5 and 6) All the pressure is on the Leafs. They need this win badly especially after the last couple of years in the Playoffs. If they can't win this game, serious questions need to be asked. If you can't get past the first round with Matthews, Marner, Taveras, Nylander, etc., the organization needs to shake things up.
  20. Damn, that means more Tapia and Zimmer.
  21. Gonna be a tough series at the Trop. Jays never play well here.
  22. He's actually a good pitcher where have you been?
  23. As long as he stays healthy, he's a beast! Shame he has been injury prone throughout his career.
  24. Should be a great pitching dual!
