  1. Jonn was a man and just admitted haha.
  2. Yeah this series isn't over. Obviously tomorrow is a must win haha but the Jays have good chances with Gausman on the mound. Still I think Ray will have a chip on his shoulder and pitch a great game as well. Won't be easy. Gotta hope the bats do step up obviously. Even if Manoah gave up 1 run, Mariners still would be winning.
  3. Everyone should go buy $15 beers to get there buzz back on!
  4. I do think the Blue Jays are the better team and also preferred playing the Mariners over the Rays, but some posters on here thought the Jays were just going to walk all over them, which is the hilarious thing. Mariners definitely have an advantage if they lock up Game 1. Even if the Jays win Game 2, prefer the Mariners with Logan Gilbert on the mound over Stripling/Berrios.
  5. Let's hope even with a 5+ run lead, Kikuchi or Richards could hold it.
  6. Got Bieber at over 5.5 K's haha.
  7. Compared to MLSE for sure. I think other MLB teams have cheaper Postseason face value tickets, depends on the city. Even still, like I said if I purchased the exact same seats for all 3 Wildcard games, would cost me close to 1K for a pair. That doesn't include food & drink costs, transportation costs etc. Easily could drop close to $1500 this weekend attending every game if you went out before/after the game for some lunch/dinner and drinks or even spending at the ballpark. Given today's high inflation, I think people might just be watching their spending more.
  8. As long as they win haha. The first two games of the ALDS against Texas in 2015 were tough ones to swallow haha. Though yeah the experience is definitely worth it. Getting to experience Game 5 in the ALDS of that year was surreal.
  9. This city is weird when it comes to the Playoffs. I even see it with the Raptors Playoff home games. Any team that isn't the Leafs. If the Jays make it deep into the Postseason and to the World Series, more casuals will definitely care and want to go to a game. Was the same with the Raptors when the made the NBA Finals. I remember Round 1, 2 and 3, it was cheaper to purchase tickets off StubHub/Ticketmaster before the game. Only for Game 6 in the Eastern Conference Finals and the NBA Finals, tickets were crazy expensive because there was more demand. I had my phone ringing asking me for tickets. But for Round 1, 2 and the beginning of R3, was lucky to just break even on the tickets I needed to sell. I couldn't even get face value for Game 7 in R2 against the 76ers, so decided to go down to the game last minute with my dad. Glad we did since it was probably the best and most memorable game in Raptors history!
  10. It's too bad they never gave him any more reps out in LF during the last couple of weeks in the season. I think if they start Kirk behind the plate and DH Jansen (visa versa), they prefer Moreno on the bench.
  11. I don't see why they would use Kikuchi in this series unless they think he can be an extra lefty out of the pen. But yeah scary haha.
  12. That's a 90% markup from the regular season which is crazy. How much were your ALDS seats if you don't mind me asking?
  13. They probably think JBJ with his experience is a better option than Zimmer. Will be interesting to see the Jays lineup for this afternoon. I hope Kirk and Jansen are both in it as C/DH. For LF, Merrifield would be ideal but that means Biggio or Espinal at 2B.
  14. Yeah 200 level outfield and corners were probably the best value in comparison to the 500 Level and 100 Level. How much are those seats usually during the regular season though? I just find Toronto teams go crazy when it comes to Playoff pricing. They jack up the price so much even if it's just the first round. I understand if its the NBA Finals, World Series, or Stanley Cup Finals. Most of the resale tickets online are done by season seat holders. As a season seat holder myself for some other teams, I can't go to every game so I need to sell them online if I can't sell them to any friends or family. If its a game in high demand, I'll price my tickets for what other similar tickets are going for and if I get that price, great! If not, I'll keep lowering my price until they sell. Even sometimes I've had to take a loss on some tickets/games, so that's why if I could make up with a more high demand game, you have to do it. I don't like when scalpers go online and just snag as many seats as they can for popular events. Ticketmaster needs to do a better job preventing that. As for Ticketmaster, they're as guilty as scalpers. All they care about is making money. They love the resale market. They make money from the purchaser through fees when they buy the tickets online first through their site. If that purchaser decides to resell them online, Ticketmaster takes a cut from them. If someone buys those resale tickets, Ticketmaster also makes money from the new purchaser as well. Ticketmaster and StubHub have pretty much replaced the common scalper. For them, if scalpers snag a bunch of tickets to an event and resell them on their platform, they're the ones gaining and don't care.
  15. I'm kind of comparing the type of deal where a highly touted pitching prospect and OF prospect were swapped for each other after they disappointed in the Majors during their first two or three seasons. Kelenic would be like Snider and Pearson would be like Lincoln. So deals like this have happened. So trading Pearson for a guy like Kelenic is pretty reasonable if both teams want to shake things up and based on team needs. Otherwise, you're not going to get anything for Pearson at this point, so the Jays would just be better off hoping he figures it out as a starter at some point or you transition him to the BP.
  16. While scalpers still exist selling tickets for concerts and sporting events both in front of the venue and online, most of the resale tickets on Ticketmaster or StubHub are actually done by the fans or season seat holders haha.
  17. Meh it's probably the 4PM start time on a Friday. If the Jays win today, tomorrows game likely will be the more popular since its a Saturday 4PM start. Also, its the Thanksgiving weekend and usually this is the last weekend the cottagers go up north to close down their homes before the winter haha. So some people might be heading out of town. Lastly, I'll even admit for the Wildcard Series, tickets were pretty pricey. Like my seats for Sec 235 cost me $310. Imagine doing that for all three games, that's just 1K on tickets! I find Toronto teams gauge their fanbase when the Playoffs start. Prices are ridiculous. Even as a Raptors season seat holder, playoff tickets are ridiculous and that's why I opted out of Playoff tickets for last season because usually before game time, tickets are cheaper on StubHub than even what I pay with my season seat membership price.

Broncos suck. Russell Wilson is so overrated as a QB. He looked awful! Colts suck. Matt Ryan needs to be replaced soon with Nick Foles. One of the most boring and pathetic football games ever. Can't believe it was on Prime Time!
  19. Yeah but you don't want to act all cocky and arrogant before a start and motivate the opposing team. It wasn't that bad to be honest but Manoah seems like the kind of guy who can act a bit arrogant/show up the opposing team.
  20. Remember when the Jays traded Travis Snider for Brad Lincoln? Wouldn't that be something similar?
  21. She's hot! That 70s Show was pretty funny back in the day.
  22. +1400 odds according to Vegas!
  23. I still give Goldy the nod over Freeman in the NL MVP for sure. 35 vs. 21 HR's and the fact that Goldy playing at an MVP type level was more helpful to the Cards Postseason chances than Freeman to the Dodgers. It's close, but I give Goldy the edge and I think voters will do the same.
