  1. Ok my two cents on the game: The game: - no way the Blue Jays should have blown 8-1 lead. You have your best pitcher on the mound with 2 outs in the 6th and at 95 pitches, you continue to let him pitch. You're not talking about your No. 4 or 5 starter on the mound. That is why you pay Gausman the big bucks. Awful decision by John Schneider or the front office, whoever made that call. Given how the Blue Jays bullpen isn't an elite pen to begin with and that with a possible Game 3 looming where all hands are on deck, you wanted Gausman to at least go 6 or maybe a little into the 7th. Worst case scenario, he does exactly what Mayza did and you're winning 8-5 after the 6th. - feel really sorry for Romano. Guy almost got out of it but a damn blooper into CF. Should have been Springers ball all the way. Hope he's okay. - Tapia: was awful defensively. Took bad routes to the ball and his positioning was awful. This is why he was a negative WAR player for most of the season. Yes he finished with a 0.3 WAR, but again it's disappointing the Blue Jays didn't look to upgrade on him at the deadline.
  2. Spanky were you dancing on that 3rd base foul line platform getting the crowd all amped up?
  3. He should have finished that inning. Stupid to have taken him out with 2 outs.
  4. I just got back home from the game. Will give my two cents soon!
  5. It's okay, they'll come back stronger next season!
  6. Tickets below face value again today on StubHub. $31 cheapest for 500s.
  7. Can I pick now? Heading down to the Jays game soon so will be AWOL until this evening. Or I can leave my picks with someone.

Got him in the dynasty Hockey league! Picked him up off waivers last season, so not bad!
  9. Hope Spanky wakes up in time and doesn't miss his GO Train downtown today! Haha.
  10. Yeah I feel the same way about Strip as I did Estrada during the Postseason in 2015 and 2016. I think he can turn in a solid performance during a Game 3 especially at home.
  11. Scherzer and Darvish both screwed me on my bets ugh. Max actually looked like he settled in. 8 in a row retired, then he just became a dumpster fire in the 5th. That ground-rule double was pretty lucky just clipping the foul line. But yeah, he can't give up those HR's like that. He's not 100 percent.
  12. Bring back 10-cent beer night at some ballparks! Just watch!
  13. Most casual Jays fans prefer trading players or prospects when their value is at the lowest!
  14. Is the CN Tower lit in blue tonight?
  15. Tough game to lose for the Cards.
  16. Robbie Ray is still alive and he's pitching in Game 2 against the Jays! Oh my!
  17. Then I suppose their 2021 success doesn't count as well because of you know...COVID.
  18. I have nothing against the Mitch White trade. He is what he is - a solid No. 5 starter and pitching depth with controllability. He wasn't going to make a huge difference for the Jays down the stretch and we saw that.
  19. Inflation even hit the MLB trade deadline.
  20. Just sign him to a $350M contract extension!
  21. Instead the Blue Jays traded for Mitch White
  22. What is even more remarkable is that the Mariners are up 4-0 and are in a good position to win this series without Sam Haggerty.
  23. Yup, I hate when players in any sports talk like big shots before they actually play. Don't get me wrong, what Manoah said yesterday wasn't that bad and didn't show up the opposition, but he's a 2nd year pitcher, just go out on the mound and let your arm do the talking.
  24. Spanky thinks the Blue Jays will walk over anyone haha.
