  1. Rangers are probably a wildcard contender. Whether they make the wildcard is another question. They probably will be active at the trade deadline if they're still in it.
  2. Rangers are even without deGrom still.
  3. Haha, thought he made his debut and never played in the Majors. My bad!
  4. Clement to waivers in the LOD please!
  5. Yeah Jays were winning some of those close games in early-mid April. They looked like a different team from last season. Though now, they're losing a lot of winnable games and falling back in the standings. The bats need a big outburst.
  6. We need Joseph Gordan Levitt to start attending Jays games.
  7. The bats need to get going. In a huge funk right now.

I bet Florida again last night. Though I have Carolina and Vegas in a parlay to win their series ugh haha. I hope Carolina can make it a series at least.
  9. Yeah that's perfectly fine. Right now Varsho isn't looking like a 4-5 WAR player agreed. If he only ends up being a 2 WAR player, then this was an awful trade.
  10. Blue Jays should pick him up!
  11. Damn that was nice getting double points for Jano yesterday!
  12. May 21 Vladdy - 1 Point - jays4life19 Bichette - 1 Point - Chapman - 2 Points - Springer - 2 Points - Spanky Belt - 3 Points - Kirk - 4 Points - Merrifield - 5 Points - Kiermaier - 6 Points - Lukes - 7 Points - JaysAllMighty, Omar, JaysBlue Off the bench: 10 Points -
  13. If Cito was manager, guys like Jansen, Kirk, and Springer would all have 10 HR's by now.
  14. When I used to play house league baseball and was at-bat with RISP, I couldn't handle the pressure. I think I had 12 RBI in my first season.
  15. Lmao I was joking. I was saying you should get better odds rather than just betting $100 each because the other guy you were arguing with said Varsho sucks. You should get $200 if you win, while he gets $100. He should be for that especially if he feels Varsho is awful. And yes I was for the trade at the time. Has my stance on the trade shifted a bit because of Moreno's and LGJ's hot starts while Varsho and Kirk/Jansen have been struggling? Yes they have. It's looking like Arizona might do very well not just in long term, but short term as well. If Varsho just ends up being a 2-3 WAR player this season, definitely will be disappointed. If he ends up being a 4-5 WAR player, different story. So far Varsho hasn't looked like a 4-5 WAR player.
  16. Vladdy - 2 Point - Bichette - 2 Point - Chapman - 4 Points - Varsho - 4 Points - Springer - 4 Points - Belt - 6 Points - Jansen - 8 Points - JaysAllMighty, JaysBlue Kiermaier - 12 Points - Espinal - 12 Points - Off the bench: 20 Points -
  17. Orioles need some elite arms in their rotation and they become one of the best teams in the MLB. I've found most games against teams above .500, they're underdogs in Vegas because of their starting pitching. Even today against the Jays, they're considered underdogs, paying 2.15 and that's with Manoah pitching for the Jays. Crazy!
  18. Blue Jays haven't been as good as advertised the past two seasons. The AL East as well has got tougher. It's a mix of both. I think overall on paper the Blue Jays improved during the offseason. It's just a lot of players have been playing terrible. Springer is looking like he's older than he is, Jansen/Kirk have provided nothing offensively behind the plate, Varsho isn't hitting yet on all cylinders as a big bat, Espinal/Biggio haven't done anything, Belt got off to a really slow start, Manoah looks like Ricky Romero now, Berrios and Kikuchi have just been meh. We're already past the mid-point of May, so if things are still like this in June, there should be some serious concern. Overall, even with their struggles, this team likely has a chance of one of the Wild Card spots, but it won't be easy. You have the Orioles, Yankees, Red Sox in the AL East along with teams like the Astros/Rangers, Angels and Mariners in the AL West.
  19. Start the rebuild on Monday please. But if the Jays win the next 2, pause the rebuild!
