  1. Richards was filthy. I like his role though, would keep him there.
  2. Mitch White probably replaces Manoah in the rotation in the next two weeks.
  3. Aaron Nola in a contract year hasn't been that sharp in the early going. 6.96 K/9, 4.64 ERA, 4.51 xFIP, 0.8 WAR
  4. His numbers this season haven't been Scherzer like. I think the days of him being an elite starter are over.
  5. I'll go with Varsho tonight.
  6. Rockies as well haha.
  7. Wonder if the D'backs offer Gurriel a QO. He'll have to continue these types of numbers all season.
  8. Ohtani likely signs with the following teams in this order (most favourite to least favourite): 1) Dodgers 2) Giants 3) Yankees 4) Mariners 5) Red Sox Yankees and Giants would both be a close second IMO.

Any big name players that could be shopped this offseason? What type of challenge trades could be out there?

Yeah I prefer Matthews and Marner over Nylander moving forward. Not sure who they could get for Nylander but would look to move him first before Matthews or Marner. Leafs are stuck with Taveras but as long as he puts up his 80 points per season, I'll take that.

Yeah I understand. They might have to make a challenge/shake-up trade for another star player of similar skillset/value. This core has pretty much been together since 2018 and they haven't even come close to looking like Cup contenders. I'm not a big Nylander fan either.

If the Leafs come back and win this series, they'll win the Cup.

Changes definitely will have to be made at the top and also in the dressing room. It's evident that the Leafs can never win a Stanley Cup with this group which is really disappointing when you consider they have guys like Matthew, Marner, Taveras and Nylander as their core. I mean for the last 3-4 years, they weren't even able to get out of R1. When you look back at these Playoffs, Leafs really did get lucky in R1 vs. Tampa winning those 3 games in OT. They could have gone the other way and if they did, looking at a different series with a R1 exit. They haven't looked good at all during the Florida series which is what's disappointing. At least go out, play good hockey and lose in 6 or 7 games.

Changes need to be made. This Leafs team is nowhere near Stanley Cup contention, even with guys like Matthews, Marner, Taveras and Nylander. Shake up is definitely needed.

  19. Crossing fingers they make Arenado available in the offseason haha.
  20. I'll take Kirk for tonight
  21. Yeah if they want to retain their top young players down the road once they become arb eligible or FA's, they'll have to increase their payroll so that will cut into how much they could spend via free agency. I think Baltimore needs an elite starter to be taken seriously as a legit contender. I know they're 22-10, but can't fathom their rotation. They need an ace.
  22. Grant approves of this image.

Florida has been the best bet in the playoffs thus far. Every game they've been paying $1.70 against the Leafs.
