  1. Yeah they've really struggled this past week. Pretty bad, but even still they're 49-35 so this cold streak hasn't really hurt them much in the standings. I still see them as a Wildcard team, but not a lock for the No. 1 WC. They definitely could fall anywhere between #1-3 or even miss the Postseason by a couple games. They need rotation help ASAP.
  2. It's a shame. Coors Field is a really beautiful ballpark.
  3. Detroit shouldn't be too tough of an opponent on paper but yeah if he gets lit up or is erratic against them, doesn't look good. Hope he can give the Jays at least 5 innings, 3 earned runs or less with a 2:1 K/BB ratio at least.
  4. Cowser getting called up by the Orioles today.
  5. I'm contending but yeah, figure once Sale comes off the IL, he could be a nice addition to my rotation if he's 100%.
  6. Would you trade Cody Bellinger for Chris Sale in a 20-team dynasty league? I know what Terminator's answer already is haha.
  7. Yup and imagine if the Jays miss the Wildcard by a game or two. Definitely would be on the FO.
  8. I heard last night. Geez tough week for the Angels. Everything blowing up in a matter of days.
  9. Nice win. Bet the Jays money line last night and paid off haha!
  10. Ohtani should take his talents to Miami. Marlins should trade for him this month or sign him in the offseason at whatever amount.
  11. I've always liked their starting rotation. Their bullpen has been solid as well with Scott (1.2 WAR), Puk (0.8 WAR) and Floro (0.7 WAR). Okert has sick K rates as well. Lineup wise was never a fan but they've been getting an elite season from Luiz Arraez and Soler has hit 22 HR along with a 1.5 WAR so far. Jazz has missed some time due to injury as well I believe. They could use another bat or two. If you said Alcantara was going to have a down season, wouldn't have thought in the world the Marlins would be 13 games over .500 at this point.
  12. Good thing the Angels have this guy to replace Trout

Like both pickups of Bertuzzi and Domi for the Leafs. Adds some toughness and both of those guys can at least provide value offensively. Bertuzzi should be good for 50-60 points over a full season. Domi should be good for the same and maybe more if he can recapture his 2018/2019 form.
  14. Yup, he f***s you even when he's not starting and has a red flag lol.
  15. Nice, I bet the Marlins run line today. Should have put more money down haha.
  16. A full No Firing clause? WTF? I wouldn't be extending Guillermo Martinez with the way this lineup has approached things. I know he doesn't go up to hit for them, but you pretty much have majority of these bats struggling and not hitting anywhere close to their career power numbers.
  17. LOL. Upset about missing Musgrove and editing my lineup. Have Ruiz and Bryant on my bench. Can't make any changes to my lineup.
  18. I'll go with KK tonight
  19. Ohtani will get $500 million minimum. Probably will get more IMO. I don't think you'll ever see this big of a free agent or star player ever available.
  20. Yeah if the cost isn't that high, he makes a lot of sense for this team.
  21. Yeah definitely the failure to address the bullpen in 2021 is one of the things you can criticize Atkins and the FO on. They thought they could patch it up with washed up relievers and it cost them the Postseason by ONE game. Instead of taking the cheap route, they should have coughed up more for better arms, especially with that roster they had. I look back at the roster the past three seasons and yeah I think the team in 2021 was their best chance in this window. You had a Cy Young winner in Ray, a dangerous lineup with huge power and all having breakout years, and a decent rotation with guys like Manoah, Berrios, Matz and Ryu. The bullpen was an utter disaster and its a shame they never properly addressed the BP at all in 2021. Like you said, a lot of things can change so much year to year. Even 2022 was precious and this season as well. If this team decides to keep the status quo and sit on the fence in 2023 and say "we'll focus on 2024 more," then you have to question the FO and blame the players for the wasted opportunity in 2023.
  22. f***ing game at 11AM. I had Patrick Corbin on my IL and red flag was removed for today and now can't start Musgrove and Greinke in the LOD! Also have Fraley in the DDL and he's locked into my lineup and on the bench. SOB!!!!! f*** these 11 AM games!!!!
  23. Hunter Renfroe as a power RH bat who could play a corner OF spot and DH if he came cheap. 14 HR with 40 RBI so far and a 1.0 WAR. He's pretty much been worth the same as Varsho so far this season haha. Varsho is still a better player obviously.
