    Wade Leblanc 6 IP. 3 K 1 BB 3 Hits. 0 Runs allowed. If the bullpen hadn't blown it, he would have picked up the win. Six shutout innings in his 2016 debut. Not bad for a guy we gave away for peanuts.

    Yeah, if he was 4th on the depth chart, after the current 5 starters, then that makes sense. Still, feel like we sold a bit low on him. Would have liked to have seen him get a couple of starts, to see if he can turn his milb numbers into comparably MLB numbers to boost his trade value.

    As long as everyone's confident that we don't need to use Scott Diamond, Roberto Hernandez or Chris Leroux, then fantastic. There's a reason people acquire depth pitching, and it's not to ship off one of your depth pitchers, as soon as someone else needs him.

    for cash of a PTBNL. Seems kind of short-sighted in my opinion. The guy was pitching really well in AAA. Sanchez can't pitch a whole season, and the injury bug is going to hit us sooner or later. Who do we go to then?

    It's pretty easy to keep all your members if you're completely undiscerning. Rage and dump all your players into free agency? No problem, it's the DDL. Absolutely s***** at fantasy, and always finish dead last every year? No problem, it's the DDL. Disappear for six months and don't set your rosters? No problem, it's the DDL. Get caught colluding with a buddy? No problem, it's the DDL. Liken someone's girlfriend to a fat male comedian? No problem, it's the DDL. In fact, I'm starting to wonder if people are allowed to leave the DDL. Maybe if someone tries, you just refuse to acknowledge it and pretend they're still there, just to keep your record intact.

    I'm always amazed at the scouts who comletely ignore stats, and continue to pump up Giolito as the top pitching prospect in baseball.

    Quantity over quality. I'd much rather have twelve s***** relievers than seven good ones.
