    Nah, it's easy to get around that. Just make him an offer of 5 years for $20 million, and he'll start packing his bags. Dominicans are super easy to offend.

    Really wish we would have traded them both in the offseason. We could have really restocked the farm. After this year, we're going to have a pretty bleak future for quite a few years. Oh well, Enjoy 2016. Gonna be out last year of being competitive for awhile.

    Ridiculous. I could vaguely understand if some anonymous internet person threatened to kill someone. But to threaten to throw a statue in the river, hardly merits the kind of wasted resources and invasion of privacy that went down here.

    Really looking forward to the season starting, and disproving that #20 rank. I'd bet money on making the playoffs, but then I'd be tempted to trade away future assets to win the bet, which would hurt me in the long run.

    Although I'm a traditionalist, the new rules on the takeout slides at home and second base just make sense. I'm still upset about Bill Madlock running five feet off the base to smash into frail, little Fernandez, and breaking his elbow, causing him to be out for the season, and for the Jays to miss the post-season as a result.

    The problem with a no-money league full of people who don't know what they're doing is that it usually turns into a shitshow. Half the owners abandon their teams, and at some point, someone makes an egregiously lopsided trade, that completely imbalances the league.

    OK, I don't feel too worried about our LF problem anymore. So glad, we didn't pick up Jay Bruce and his contract.

    The real disadvantage of playing in Coors, is that they can't get any quality starting pitcher free agents. And Colorado is on every pitcher's no trade list.

    Jays are just under .500 at the all-star break. Shapiro ships out Encarnacion and Bautista for minor league talent just after the break. Jays fans realize we would have gotten a lot more from EE and JB had we traded them at the start of the season.

    No, I'm not drafting. Just setting it up. Ok, ignore the email you got today. The draft date is Friday, March 24th. I'll set up the draft order shortly. There's still time to join the league, if there are other people interested. Would be nice to have a full 20 people. Think we're at about 17 now.

    OK, draft date is set for March 24th at 6 PM.

    OK, I've narrowed it down to either March 24th (Thursday) or 25th. (Friday) Again, the draft will start at 6 PM EST, and take somewhere between 4 and 6 hours. The first three people to respond with their preferred date, get it.

    OK, people. If everyone selects only one date, then we will definitely not be able to do the draft online. The idea is for people to be as flexible as possible so that we can have everyone draft on the same day. So, we have like three guys that have selected a single date. Obviously, that's not gonna work, unless we revolve the entire draft around your schedule.
