  1. Sad that all these tough guys, turn cuck, as soon as they get fired. Would be nice to see somebody actually stand up and say, nobody got hurt, so STFU and deal with it.
  2. KingKat and Gift sitting in a tree...
  3. Four posts mentioning the number of posts made with a short time span, and commenting on the speed of the offseason. How can you tell it's been a slow offseason?
  4. Six years of control, with three at basically the minimum major league salary. I know he had a s***** year last year, but if he can regain any semblance of his 2016 self, this deal is ridiculous.
  5. Who is enough of a cuck to be beyond reproach?
  6. I have a number of fringe keepers, and OK players, I would like to part with. Would like to swap for draft upgrades or milb players. And obviously, I would love to trade two or three for a better player, as unlikely as that is. Manny Pina Mitch Moreland Jake Marisnick Raul Mondesi Jr. Renato Nunez Matt Bowman Pat Neshek Jose LeClerc Paul Sewald Chance Adams Domingo Acevedo JC Ramirez Josh Tomlin Neil Walker Leury Garcia Jose Urena
  7. Picking up a reliever before the drop deadline? Not bloody likely.
  8. I could use two high end outfielders, a shortstop, second base, catcher, four starting pitchers and a relief corps, but other than that I'm pretty happy with how my team is looking in this league.
  9. This thread needs some life breathed into it. Let's kick a couple of people out, and have a dispersal draft.
  10. Yeah, sometimes it's just nice to play the game on 'easy mode', you know?
  11. Starting a new league is tough. Lots of things to consider. Don't worry though. I'm very confident that you kids will get the hang of this.
  12. I can do it Oh....never mind.
  13. Well, I guess that proves it then. I bet he's sorry for doubting you now.
  14. It's a fair point. The Yankees have a ton of homegrown talent. There really aren't any massive free agents, at least no more than any other playoff contender.
  15. Oh well, then, why not just make it like football and have an offensive and a defensive team. Does anyone want to see Alcides Escobar hit? What about Sandy Leon? Just bring in a bunch of goony, steroid type hitters to mash the ball over the fence.
  16. The only thing I liked about that was the return of the Expos. We don't need NY vs NY rivalries and Chicago vs Chicago rivalries. It's more fun if there's a chance of facing eachother in the WorldSeries. And you can't just force the teams to adopt national league or american league rules. And don't even start that s*** about putting a DH in the national league.
  17. Yeah. There's no room for back-up quarterbacks who kneel during the anthem. Torturing and killing dogs for amusement is A-OK though.
  18. Wow, he looks incredibly annoying.
  19. I've had haemorrhoids before too, but let me tell you, picking at it won't do any good. Just makes it worse. I would recommend anti-inflammatory creams, and increasing fiber in your diet instead.
  20. My thought is that he is better than Matt Harvey.
  21. We need to trade Donaldson in the off-season. His value will decline the longer he plays. We only have him for 2018, and we're not making the playoffs next year. Maybe ask for: Jose Martinez (can play 1b/LF/DH). Is good but underrated and the Cards have too many outfielders anyways. Tyler O' Neill. Decent prospect. Lots of power. Bad K numbers, but that formula seems to work. And Cardinals don't need OF. Luke Weaver. Kid is looking good so far. Jack Flaherty. Cardinals have plenty of pitching. Might not be able to get O'Neil, Weaver and Flaherty, but should get 2/3 easy plus Martinez.
  22. Was getting pretty excited when I saw those 24 strikeouts over nine innings. If only that were true.
  23. The Cardinals have an absurd amount of outfielders. I'm sure they'd trade some guys away cheap. They've been showcasing Jose Martinez the last couple months, probably to trade him in the offseason. He's been good for 1.7 WAR in roughly 270 AB. Could be a solid LF/1B for us, that we could acquire cheaply.
  24. So far this year, Miguel Cabrera has posted -0.2 WAR fuelled by a 246/329/396 line as a poor defensive first baseman. He's 34 years old, and is owed: 2018: $30 million 2019: $30 million 2020: $30 million 2021: $30 million 2022: $32 million 2023: $32 million 2024: $8 million buyout Total $192 milion for below replacement level production. He will single-handedly cripple the Tigers over the next six years, unless he rebounds. So, no more whining when we don't sign Josh Donaldson etc to a six year deal.
  25. Based on how the two of them handled A+, I think Guerrero is ready for AA, but Bichette could use more time in A+
