    Can someone remind me why we signed an out-of-shape 33 year old, with terrible defensive metrics, who put up 0.8 WAR in over 600 AB to a 3-year contract for $33 million last year? Was it because 1B/Util bats are super hard to obtain?

    Yeah, but some of us actually want to like the players on the Blue Jays. If the Jays win every world series in the next ten years, with a team full of douchebags, I'm not going to be rooting for them. You do understand that the distinction between recognizing someone is talented, and liking them?

    How come every douchebag rapper has to have a lambourghini in the video? But yeah, Stroman should recognize kids might look up to him, and not make videos like that. And it just gives us a bit of insight into his character if he has to brag about money, cars and women all the time. And you know that every time he gets into an argument with a regular dude somewhere, he's gotta bring up how much money he makes to win the argument. Because he can't do it any other way.

    Hmm, do we know of anyone in one of the other leagues, who isn't in DDL yet?

    With Machado, Harper and Kershaw becoming free agents next year, and with the dismal state of the market this year, players would be wise to re-sign with their current teams for reasonable amounts rather than test the free market. Maybe something like 5/125 could land JD?

    Would love to move over to FanTrax. Would cover half the fees. Love having all the prospects and draft picks on the screen in a tradeable format. Never have to worry about whether or not a player is already owned. Easy to do trades. Probably way easier to be commissioner. Plus, we could look at expanding or merging two leagues in the future, since they allow 30 teams.
