    20-team-leagues are weird. There's a ton of decent players, that have basically no value, as they're borderline (ranked 15-25) at their position. Wish you could get 30 teams in Yahoo.

    Really hope we trade him before the season starts. Even better would be if we eat most of his contract. We'll get a haul of prospects to match up with Vlad and Bo. Alternatively, we could keep him for the whole year, finish well out of the playoffs, and a get a 2nd round pick in compensation. Looks like we're probably going with Plan B.

    Whether it's MikeM or Jim or someone else, I think we should have some kind of vote before accepting new players. That's what we've mainly done previously, and it's worked well, as opposed to first come first serve. The only time we didn't was when TRM was appointed, and that didn't work out well.

    Ahhh, we lost Cyborg. That's a shame. He was one of our best, but we haven't really seen much of him in the last year. Hope he's doing well.

    They need to trade JD in the offseason, not before the trade deadline, where we'll get 50% of his value. I'd suggest getting rid of a lot of other veterans, but there aren't many with much value. Tulo and Martin are both liabilities. We could potentially resign Pillar at a reasonable rate. Happ and Estrada are just good enough to avoid us from being a laughing stock. And Sanchez, Stroman and Osuna still have control left. Ideally, we trade JD for a young starting pitcher who is MLB ready, and ship Estrada/Happ off once we have the reinforcements

    Yeah, you don't want a sportsteam owned by a public corporation, because shareholders don't invest to see a championship, they invest to see a return on their investment, so every decision the owner makes, has to be towards profit generation. Instead, we need an egotistical asswipe, who doesn't give a s*** about money, and just wants to drive around in his Lambo, showing hoes his World Series rings.
