Brutal loss. I thought this game was going to be a blowout when we were up 50-33 halfway through the 2nd.

That's true, but I just don't understand how they can have him projected for by far his worst season in the last five years. Especially when he is coming off a year where he nearly doubled the current projection in WAR. I'm guessing steamer projections are always extremely conservative in regards to IP? They have him at 192, when I feel like he's one of the sure bets to top 200. I also noticed they have guys like Shields, Lee, and Verlander below 200 as well.

I actually completely agree with you here. I stopped taking steamer serious anyway when they projected Clayton Kershaw for 3.7 WAR. TBH I normally don't even look at WAR for fantasy baseball.

Not sure what's happening with Dempster yet. He would be my last keeper if I knew he would be given a rotation spot. I'm going to punt saves so I'll probably be picking up 3 relievers in the waiver draft.

It's a pretty fair trade all around. Cliff Lee will be great, but he's entering his age 36 season. How many productive years does he have ahead of him? I say 1-2 more years, which is about equal to the value Cats gave up. I still like Cats end the best because I almost always favor the proven talent in these kinds of deals. This one is very close on all side though. The only clear winner for me is Spanky since I believe Sanchez > Urias in value.

I can't believe cuts are only like 4-6 weeks away. This offseason has gone by fast for me. I guess it's because I'm still always looking at the docs/teams. It's never like a true break for me.
