    Here I thought this organization hit rock bottom when we sent Jo-Jo Reyes out on a regular basis. I can't believe we're going into the season with such little starting depth. If we get any kind of injuries we are completely f***ed. Imagine Dickey + Morrow go to the DL? No depth whatsoever.

    It's funny. Our Byrd for Dempster swap resulted in both players being cut anyway. Poor guys.

    I also personally have zero problem with it. We haven't even reached the mandatory cut down date yet.

    If you bench him against the Yankees, Red Sox, Rangers, Angels etc and play him against the weaker teams; there's definitely some value there.

    I'll admit I overlooked his K:BB. It's the lineups he's going to be facing in the AL though. I think it's very likely he ends up hurting you in ERA and OBPA most weeks. The low K total isn't enough to justify it for me.

    Also it would be hilarious if this last minute deal that seems like nothing turned into major significance. If Joyce had some breakout year where he went 90/30/95 with an .850 OPS. Or if Buehrle somehow had a mid 3 ERA with a 3.5 K:BB and 18 wins.

    Havok is at 21 and has basically made all his cuts so he'll be good. I'm pretty sure the list Silvio posted is his cuts, but NJH is just waiting for clarification so he will be good. That just leaves Spanky and Realmin. Hopefully Spanky didn't drink too much after the Team Canada win!
