    All I notice is that non-baseball influence and annoying politics is making decisions. White is not better than Bass. He couldn't get AAA hitters out so why will he be any good up here. He hasn't shown it. This is not a baseball decision and that has me pi$$ed off!! Live and let live, just don't mandate people's views.

    White hadn't earned a damn thing, in fact I was expecting him to be released. They've already admitted he won't start. So making the move to serve the woke is the worst thing I could imagine. He doesn't have a name: he's just the woke's bitch.

    We are dangerously thin in starting pitching. May need to comb through whatever's left of the free agent market.

    I was one who wanted him gone, I admit. I was wrong. I still think he wasn't ready enough from spring training though.

    I think he's on a $3million contract. We'd effectively pick up about $2m for the remainder of the season. May be worth it.

    It would be a great move to get Plesac. I don't think he could find a better chance for meaningful innings.

    Seems like time to clear out all that AAA junk and maybe bring in a free agent? Manoah should not be starting right now. Might even be dangerous for him.

    He's the player for whom I've always held out high hopes. I like middle infielders who can produce.

    That is true and I agree. I'm not interested in any of their opinions.

    Personally I hate it. I don't want to know any players politics, preferences or habits -- NONE OF MY BUSINESS. Only interested in can they get outs, get hits or whatever. Bass should not be forced to say anything and to be honest it sounded awful. The only thing the Jays should be celebrating is Toronto Blue Jay fans. That being said I fully expect Bass to be sent off, and not because of his abilities. And my views of the Jays will only go down.

    The team gets the benefit of 3 cheating innings holding their opposition back.

    Can't believe there isn't more of a penalty for cheating. So the player takes the penalty but the team benefits. Unbelievable. Why not just give the championship to the Yankees and be over with it. There should be a charge of something like 9 runs charged.

    Looks like it was his 1b coach. Some report on that.

    the correct call should be that he disengaged from the pitcher and called strike. No homer.
