  1. 4.2IP 3ER 4H 4BB 4K 89 pitches
  2. Good Paradhino, did not expect him to do so well right off the bat. Bad Alford
  3. I could see a team like the Nationals wanting someone like Gibby who is good with more mature players and not letting their egos get in the way.
  4. There are legitimately 9-10 teams as bad, if not worse than Toronto at the moment. It would be nice to get into the top 10 for the draft and maybe scoop someone up for the supplemental round via JD.
  5. I might need to goto that game.
  6. At work it doesn't let me quote but Travis has had a 113 wRC+ since his call up on May 22nd with a .330 OBP. D still sucks.
  7. Isn't the 40 man at 39 right now?
  8. I'm not super disappointed with this. Would have been great to get someone with a higher pedigree obviously but it fills a spot in LF next season with Hernandez hopefully never going into the OF again and a 2B/3B type that you'll be paying nothing for.
  9. Any idea on call ups now that Pillar and Gurriel are out? I can't imagine they'll run as many arms as they have with a super short bench.
  10. Jonathon Davis hit the first cycle in Fisher Cats history today.
  11. According to Ben Wagner we'll be seeing Ryan Borucki making his MLB debut on Tuesday in Houston.
  12. I'll watch games but I'm more likely to have it on my phone while gaming or something. I'm watching for trades and other moves for the future.
  13. https://www.theplayerstribune.com/en-us/articles/aj-burnett-roy-halladay-tribute AJ Burnett with a piece about Doc, nice read.
  14. Warmoth to DL was the corresponding roster move.
  15. If the Jays fall further out I'd be very open to Toronto moving Pillar for anything of value. Run with Pompey, Grichuk and Hernandez as your starters in LF, CF and RF and use DSJ as your 4th OF for the season and see what happens. It's time for Pompey to sink or swim and if he fails at least when he's let go or taken on waivers you're happy you've seen enough to make a safe judgement that he has no future with the team. Toronto would of course need to release Morales and use Granderson and Pearce as DH/OF/1B options off the bench.
  16. Pompey according to Davidi.
  17. How does Gaviglio look? At work and cannot catch the game.
  18. Clemens has a .158 BABIP so a lot of s*** luck contributes to that. Averaged closer to a .330 in lower levels. Give him another 70-100 plate appearances and see where things sit.
  19. If you needed a host out of nothing but desperation I'd do it but I'd rather be a listener rather than an active contributor.
  20. I'd love to hear some good Blue Jays talk so I think it's a great idea.
  21. I don't look up to athletes or celebrities so I don't really understand the cheering aspect that people are after, I can appreciate their achievements but I don't really care about their day to day existence and the actions they take off the stage/field/etc. I want Toronto to win a World Series and to continually contend and that means talent. You're selling way low on Osuna if you trade him now and he's one of the best bullpen arms in baseball.
  22. Definitely not cool no one should run the risk of being assaulted and when it does occur treat it seriously and protect all parties involved. With that being said when Osuna is done this process, when we actually know what happened, I damn well want him back out on the field in the ninth inning. He's one of the best relief pitchers in baseball, I don't care what kind of person he is on or off the field as long as he performs.
  23. Josh Naylor is off to a great start this year, game power is starting to show. Walking more than he strikes out and he's halved his K-Rate from his AA sample last year. Will be interesting to see if this sticks for a full season.
  24. For whatever reason I think Garcia is starting and I'm hopefully because I seem to think he's done well and then I see the stats and am depressed. What a dreadful inning.
  25. Or turn into Ben Zobrist. I can definitely see Biggio being a 400+ PA utility guy.
