I'm not evening saying dump him because of the bat. I'm saying dump him because you may get something for him and he's likely to start becoming a below replacement level player once his legs do go.
I wonder if the Jays end up selling this year if it's the time to see if you can get anything for Pillar. Range in the OF seems to have decreased, his base running has been poor this year and he's always been a legs reliant player. He's getting around that age where a lot of speed dependent guys seem to fall off a cliff.
I always enjoy watching over age players beat on a league and then watch people get excited about it because they're unaware of the context and then when they struggle at age appropriate levels seeing fans hopes crushed is where I then take pleasure.
Your co-leader for fWAR this season, Justin Smoak at 1.1 with a 145 wRC+. He's basically earned his extension at this point, though we all know that the WAR can of course decline.

Ricky Romero on the Scott McArthur show, pretty good interview. Goes into a little bit of detail about his knee injuries basically ending his career.
I like Barry, I think he was a bit awkward on camera but he's always come across a bit like Jamie Campbell and that's as a huge Jays fan. Should be fun.
