  1. And the revolving door of s***** relievers continues. Let's hope Stefanic can babip his way into some usefulness.
  2. I assume "thinking" was an autocorrect from "drinking" ?
  3. 9 HRs total in his first 4 seasons in the minors....but already has 7 this season alone. Not a bad way to get noticed
  4. May as well keep throwing s*** at the wall, eventually something has to stick...right? Right!?
  5. Sad thing is, it's actually to the point where these two choices are CLOSE
  6. Winning or losing, the team just isn't fun to watch. If they were losing games and still hitting bombs and making it feel like they were still in any game no matter what the score was, it would be at least entertaining. Right now, you know the pitching has to keep the opposition to 3 or fewer runs every game for any chance of winning because even if they do rattle off 15 hits, 13 will be singles that might score 2 runs because 9 of them will be followed by a double play ball, any leadoff double will be bunted to third and have 2 straight Ks or foul pop outs, and the last couple will be erased on the basepths because Vlad is a f***ing moron. Fundamental baseball is great when you need it for an insurance run, or a go ahead run or tying run late game when the bottom of the lineup is coming up, but right now the Jays are relying on it for nearly every run they score. It's inefficient and will never score many runs to begin with. Most Importantly though, it's boring as f*** to watch for 9 innings.
  7. How to confuse Jays hitters.... lob cookies down the heart of the plate and they'll just watch them go by, and then swuing at the junk in the dirt
  8. I find it easier not to have any identifiable character with which to arc
  9. This optimistic version of Terminator is making me sick. What happened to you man!!??
  10. Davidi had an article up somewhere a day or two ago, basically said the only reason Yesavage and Stephens started in Dunedin was to ensure they could get regular turns in the rotation and not get rained out a bunch like what typically happens in Vancouver in early spring. He seemed to indicate that both would be moving up to Vancouver in the near future.
  11. Nice! Couple things.... Your link for Watson goes to the wrong guy though, here's the right link to fix https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=watson002rya Also, Khal Stephen isn't right out of high school, he's 21 and pitched in the NCAA for 3 years prior to being drafted.
  12. Double, moved over on a fly out, then a sac fly... I'll take that from 6-9 anytime.
  13. Like I said, comes and goes. He just had it against Heinemen and Gimenez. NEither had a chance in hell.
  14. His stuff is straight filth. Command comes and goes clearly but when it comes... it's nasty.
  15. No big hit... Williams found his command against Heiny and Gimenez
  16. CB Bucknor had a lot to do with that. Barger and Clement both
  17. I mean.. he was very clearly not running in the runners lane... but f*** that. Sucks to see him hurt.
  18. Ump show....Jesus christ this zone is awful
  19. To be fair, a +6 run diff should be about a .500 record, maybe 12-10 at best. They vastly overperformed their run diff during that hot start and that overperformance is still factoring in to their current W/L record despite giving up far more runs than they're scoring. That said, the Ws are still already locked up and Pythagorean w/l isn't perfect. However, it's still something ya look at and think... f***...they really need to start scoring runs consistently, which means hitting for power. Without that power component, we all know the record will slip if the pitching isn't near perfect.
