Yup. Extra pitches all day for the cards hitters, and calling utter trash as strikes to the jays. Wildly inconsistent on pitches in the same locations from batter to batter

One other thing about Hutch... He started the game throwing 89 with the fastball, but by the third was up to 93 consistantly. Maybe he's having some trouble,getting loose

Yes. Pillar chases all kinds of s*** because his hand eye is so good he makes contact with a lot of stuff he should just let go, and results in a lit of terrible contact, or at the hug league level, more whiffs. He needs to learn to take a f***ing walk.

Yup. The ump isn't helping though. His awful calls on pitches outside are forcing the hitters to swing at s*** pitches.

I'm not sure what's hard to understand? You walk the RHB to set up the inning ending double play with the platoon advantage... He even got the ground ball. Just cuz it dribbled through the IF doesn't mean it was a a bad decision. I think the mistake Gibbons made was not having a RHP ready to if Loup struggled. gibbons so rarely has two guys warming these days, even with a well rested pen.
