I'd love Juan to just step 2-3 inches away from the plate in the batters box. He could still cover the outside and he wouldn't get so jammed on those inner half pitches.

They just need to relax and stop trying to hit everything. Take a bloody walk if that's what the pitcher gives you. This guy is nothing special, they're just bailing him out by swinging at borderline stuff in every AB.

Second time through the lineup, maybe we'll see a better idea here. 3-1 count to Reyes, swings at one borderline up and away, that should have been a take all day even if it was called a strike. It was a piss-poor pitch to try and do anything with. Then two pitches later, he lets the pitcher climb the ladder on him. Weak out to LF. Just a really poor AB.
