  1. Not when their pitching staff and a whole leaves a lot to be desired.
  2. I don't think he can learn what he needs to learn in AAA. You can't learn to adjust to great breaking balls in AAA since pretty much nobody there has great breaking balls.
  3. Pretty much all of Buerhle's success this year is due to his strand rate being higher than his career norms and hit HR/FB being about a third of his career rate. Everything else lines up with his career norms within a few points. There's reason to expect regression, but maybe this is the year he rally outperforms his peripherals all year
  4. Couldn't resist it. Had a great one last night that I just didn't post. Was when Colome was in and walking guys and then the jays get a hit....the joke was... "Jays are scoring by taking walks and hitting HR... So a little of Colome and a little of column B"
  5. Wonder how the man in white relayed the Balk sign in to Edwin? That guy rules.
  6. Can totally understand why he did it, but Ramos screwed it up by trying to field what would have been an easy grounder to Escobar. So yeah, suck it maddon
  7. Look how many of these names are in the top 14. Pretty much sealed the pick for me when I saw 5 of the top 6 taking Lind. Gotta keep pace and he was good value
  8. On the jays... Could easily argue Melky, Bautista, Edwin, and Buerhle are having AS calibre years, whether they make though is up to the stupid public.
  9. Game 53 Reyes (3pts) -bowld Melky (2pts) - Jonn, stangstag Bautista (1pt) - Easy Point Eddy (1pt) -gruber92 Lind (3pts) -Frenchsoup, JaysAllMighty, Angrioter, Spanky99, wilko, jays4life19, jaysguy34, o2cui2i, Deadpool, Dylan, Glock, JohnHavok Juan (2pts) - GD, Chappy, vdub, flafson, G-snarls, bbbb Lawrie (2pts) - Orgfiller Navarro (5pts) - Gose (7pts) - Atothe, LetTheBallFly
  10. Sad part is, this is where the ump is forcing Hutch to throw these pitches to get strike calls....
  11. Well that's all it really is with those guys, you can't really make a case for those low end guys to ever hit a hr even with the platoon advantage... I'd never pick Tolleson against a RHP though.
  12. Yeah. 17 points with just 2 correct picks makes up a lot of ground.
  13. That should have said reposting, not reporting. Auto correct got me. I'd never report for something so trivial.
  14. Bouncy owes me 4 points for convincing him to pick Tolleson.
  15. Probably put him on the DL with some made up injury like "arm fatigue."
  16. I just picked up Hutch's tell when he throws his breaking balls. When he starts his windup with his fastball, his glove is more towards the plate and doesn't come as far back in his body rotation... On his breaking pitches the glove comes around in his rotation a bit more. Not even like a huge difference, but it's there
