    Bautista as a DH would be him at 100%. The fact he's still playing the OF is kind of a joke at this point.

    I love that Colabello managed to get into both a High A and a Triple A box score on the same day. Gotta love finishing up old games just to mess with people's heads for a second.

    I think saying it doesn't matter at all isnt quite true(you wouldn't want to see 0 walks in 100 PA) but it's certainly not at the top of the list of things to care about in rookie ball.

    Arencibia hit .470 last week and only struck out once. No walks ....but he only k'd once

    It's true to a point, and I have no problems with it at all. I was more making a general statement about DFS in general as not being subject to the same gambling rules and regulations that other forms of gambling, when they're exactly the same priniples, like horse racing.

    Make no mistake. Despite its current protection from the government, DFS is just as bg a gamble as anything out there. You can make the most logical pick sin the world, but it's still pure luck if they actually perform

    It's rapidly becoming his "soon to be out of the rotation" pitch if he doesn't pull his head out of his ass. It worked for him in a small sample last year because he hadn't really thrown it as a primary pitch prior, just as a differnet look. The league has adjusted to it, it's not that good a pitch for him, and he needs to get bak to what made him successful. This isn't it

    I just don't think he has changed with the times over the past 5 or so years when it comes to bullpen usage. He still wants his starters going 7-8 innings and only brings in the pen after the starter blows up. I also suspect (though I don't know whreto go to confirm this) that the Jays pen arms don't have the platoon advantage as much as they should, though part if that has clearly been the fact that anyone who throws left handed has either been injured, awful, or both.

    I can't be the only one that's seeing the obvious correlations here. Now that's doesn't mean causation, but it's certainly enough to say "wtf are you doing kid?"

    One step at a time. We're talking about 70 PA sample sizes here. That doesn't mean that they shouldn't be promoted, just saying that there's only so much that you can see from a stat line about someone's readiness for promotion. That being said, having Biggio, Bichette and Vlad Jr on the same infield would be cool to watch

    Pretty much what I was thinking. It's not something they needed to pursue or even be thinking about at this time. Had a Saunders extension been announced, that could have made more sense depending on the dollars and term, but this is just unnecessary
