  1. Cleveland has been revitalized a lot in recent years. It's not really that much of a dumpster anymore. Baltimore has that title hands down. Maybe Detroit
  2. Doesn't really help your case
  3. Probably the most anticipated list since the 10 Commandments. And probably about as useful
  4. How many teams not in the playoffs have ex me members of the Jays or the playoff teams? Then tell me why it's relevant
  5. At least he got his major league hit. Was a classy move by the Jays to bring him up for those games after he toiled in the minors for 3400 PA, 99% of which were with the Jays
  6. You definitely missed the subtlety of the joke.
  7. There is no way that Jazz Chisholm guy's nickname isn't Jizz. There's just no alternative that makes sense.
  8. Without a doubt there will be many FOs ringing the Rockies GM pretty regularly. It's really just a hope that the Jays will be able to convince the Rockies that what they offer will be more enticing, due to said GM's idiocy. Remember, in a trade it's only partially about how a team values their own asset(s), it's more so about how your potential trade partners values what you offer them in return
  9. Hardest hit HR in the postseason since Statcast started tracking exit velo in 2015. 116.1 MPH
  10. No GM could succeed there while being forbidden from exploring a major avenue of asset accumultaion, ie the international market. That, coupled with the lack of investment in any forward thinking prospect development and analytics (squarely on Angelos' shoulders), you're seeing the inevitable results, regardless of who was at the helm. Duquette will get work, and probably very soon. Maybe not as a GM right away, but some position like Cherington's with the Jays.
  11. Gotta keep in mind that most people watching right now are dumb as f*** and will actually think the announcers are saying true things.
  12. So hard to predict 1 game outcomes. So much random s*** can happen with next to no time to react or make up for mistakes. Go Cubbies
  13. It's low hanging fruit at this point.
  14. Providing comparisons doesn't mean advocating for 1 or the other. Please upgrade your reading comprehension skill. Btw, you compared them twice in your post after stating that people should stop comparing them. Idiot
  15. No, just the stats from this season, not career, which were posted prior to the end of last night's game. McKinney 112 Teoscar 107 I think the major differences between the two are simple. Neither are good defenders though small sample size issues exist with McKinney numbers, I didn't feel like he was a butcher out there at all, but Teo is just lost. He has no skills defensively except speed which doesn't make up for his terrible reads and routes. McKinney walks more, but Teo has more power. McKinney probably has the higher floor, lower ceiling and lower risk of reaching some midpoint. Teo would probably have the higher ceiling, lower floor and higher risk.
  16. Probably Grichuk, Pillar, Borucki and Happ would be the top. I'd bet Stroman has much better peripherals than Borucki though
  17. Mckinney 118 wrc+ Teoscar 108 wrc+
  18. Scioscia finally confirmed to be gone. Another dinosaur put out to pasture. And the O's finish with the 15th worst win % since 1900. Only other modern team worse was the 2003 Tigers,
  19. To be fair, they're a much better team at this point.
  20. Martin's future as a manager is questionable given he decided to hit Pillar in the leadoff spot. Unless it's just a nothing gesture to the longest tenured Jay to hit there in a meaningless game.
  21. I cut several very obvious gay jokes from my responses to said restaurant.
  22. Holy s***
  23. While that's certainly true, he's not wrong in this case
  24. Catherine Mullaly, the Crown prosecutor, told Judge Melvyn Green she and the detective in the matter had spoken on the phone with Cota, with whom Osuna has a three-year-old son and is currently in Mexico, where she resides with her family and the child. During that conversation, Cota said she wanted to resume contact and parenting responsibilities with Osuna, had no fear for her safety and would not return to Toronto to testify if a trial date was set. Doesn't really seem like much if the person isn't willing to testify, wants to resume co-parenting with the person and charges are withdrawn without any admission of guilt. Not that this will shut any SJWs up, but it should
  25. I can't stand the 40 second play clock, 400 time outs per game, or the fair catch.
