    I find it's better not to waste time explaining things to people that aren't interested in listening and learning and would rather evaluate pitchers based on subjective feelings, useless stats, unquantifiable garbage and whose blathering pretty much amounts to nothing more than "Durrrrrr ERA and stuff" rather than talent derived metrics. When you're ready to move beyond the 1950s, let me know and i'll bring out the flashcards for ya. And calling people turds, Dicks (capital D even) and telling them to suck your cock definitely gives you more credibility.

    Bergen is interesting. Pen arm for sure but he can miss bats. If he, Mayza and Fernandez were the lefty pen arms with one of them on the Buffalo shuttle that wouldn't be too surprising.

    While I agree that Schneider would be a decent option, your reasoning needs work, aside from the symmetry. I think most will think you meant to say chemistry, but symmetry in social/professional interaction is a thing, and probably very important in MLB. I think Gibby has excellent symmetry with the players, for the most part. The Sox and Yankees have all star team rosters, they could put you or I in as a manager and still be amazing, so that's not really a point. I think the thing that plays in Schneider favour is that he's been with the Jays his entire playing and coaching career, and obviously they value him highly or he wouldn't have been promoted to the next level pretty much every year since he started managing. There's clearly something he has and they see in him that meshes well with what they want in a big league manager. It might just be the perfect time for him to take over if the Jays think he is ready

    Exactly. Just because 10 guys are rule 5 eligible doesn't mean those 10 guys are MLB ready and deserving of a spot. It's like Hurl said.... maybe 2 of them. And there's enough dead weight on the roster right now along with surely departing FAs like Solarte and Estrada.... the hint of a roster crunch is just clickbait ********
