  1. Who’s up for the 9th now? All the good arms are used already
  2. Only because the NY manager decided to one-up the stupidity level. How he didn’t walk Chapman to pitch to Tapia with 2 outs is like….Buck Showalter in the playoffs level stupid.
  3. Not walking Chapman to pitch left on left to the ground ball machine of Tapia is hilariously stupid.
  4. Wow, I mean that was a pretty easy DP, but Bo has really looked great at SS. Like legit plus defense now. Very smooth, hasn’t made any bad decisions on forcing throws he shouldn’t be trying. Even the Yanks radio broadcasters are mentioning he looks like a different player defensively
  5. Yeah. Like the first time a foul ball goes off that signalling device on the catchers shin guard and shatters it, he’ll be sure to point out how bad the technology is because it’s not indestructible.
  6. Lol Buck always so quick to blame anything new for being distracting. The pitch comm took place before the pitch was even thrown, how would it have caused a distraction to the 2b which in turn caused him to bobble the ball on the transfer like 30 seconds later? If Jesus was alive today, he’d crucify himself just so he wouldn’t have to listen to this garbage.
  7. Lol. tapia finally gets on base by swinging at the catchers glove. He should do that every time
  8. Ah okay, so just trolling. Carry on. Lots of balls cross the strike zone….lol
  9. Tabby on Tapia: “He just puts the ball in play, cuts down his swing, put it on ground if you have to but put it in play” He’s done that his entire career and been garbage. Maybe it’s time for a different strategy? Jesus f***ing Christ this isn’t 1924.
  10. It still shows it as a strike, the ball crosses the border of the zone. What are you looking at?
  11. Baseball savant has it on the edge…by a seam width. 1st pitch was an entire ball width in the zone. Gamedays strike zone is not the same on that the pitch fx uses, which is far more accurate. 3 out of 5 were clear strikes, strike 3 was very borderline but brushed the edge.
  12. As perfect a fastball as there ever was. Beauty
  13. 1st pitch been a strike all night until now …
  14. Refreshing to see an umps zone not being 6 inches wider than it should be though
  15. Kinda hair splitting, but really it may have stayed in if Hicks didn’t glove it over. It may have hit the top of the fence and came back in, or it may have hit and went over. Hard to say really. The NY radio folks had it as a HR right away
  16. I say we get someone to step n his finger before ever PA.
  17. If it’s really close with the tv frame…I go to baseball savant. And usually find the umps are wrong
  18. Paxton hit 100mph 43 times his whole career so far. Hunter Greene was over 100 mph 37 times in his first start the other night. Greene is redonkulous.
  19. James Paxton has. But he was never steadily at or over 100mph, but his hit 100mph or better 43 times
