    Man I wish I was good at baseball, if I hit HR now for the Jays, I’d literally walk up the first 1st baseline staring at the Sox dugout, then skip to 2b, moonwalk to third while staring at Verdugo while miming that he suck my cock, then ultra slow walk home. The entire process would take about 3 minutes.

    New storyline…Jays or Sox blow this open, Montoyo sends in Romo to hit Devers, Romo and Montoyo get suspended. This is the one way I would consider Romo being in the game a good thing

    I’ve given up hope of him being released, but ffs STOP hitting hm in the middle of the f***ing lineup. It’s stupid. He should be hitting 9th every game he’s in, he’s the worst hitter on the team aside from Zimmer and it’s not close. I don’t care about a babip fueled almost hot streak, he’s garbage with the bat, stick him in 9th and stop killing rallies in the middle of the lineup with this f***ing clown. /rant

    The ultra-rare “4th out rule” happened today in the Washington-Pittsburgh game. Brief synopsis, runners on 2nd and 3rd for Pittsburgh, 1 out. Hitter lines out to Josh Bell, both runners had gone on contact. Bell throws to third, and the 3b tags the runner who had run from second out for a double play, then also touches third, but the runner from 3rd had scored already. So…because he tagged the runner from 2nd for the third out, and THEN touched third without appealing that the runner left early(because there was 3 outs already, they didn’t think to do it) before they left the field, the run counts. Had they appealed to the ump the runner from third left early and tagged 3b first, and then tagged the runner from second, the run wouldn’t have scored. Had they appealed to the ump immediately after tagging the runner and touching 3b, run wouldn’t have scored. f*** I love baseball.

    I don't think the Pirates are all that interested in trading Bednar tbh. They've locked up some guys to longer term deals, Oneil Cruz is just coming up and murdering baseball while throwin 97 mph seeds across the diamond from SS, Bryan reynolds might be their next extension... and Bednar would still be there for the next 4 seasons. I truly doubt he's on the block given the foundation that has been laid there.

    Jansen is such an obvious trade piece at this point though, he's gone instantly for the right return. The C spot is nailed down for the next 6+ seasons with Kirk and Moreno, even if Moreno never hits better than a league average catcher. Problem is, who needs a catcher with 2.5 years of control left, that's on the way up, and has something they'd want to trade that doesn't impact their upward trajectory and that helps the Jays now?
