  1. I think the chances of Vlad dropping down the lineup is about the same chances as Springer earlier this season when he was awful
  2. He said nearly 460 feet. 114.8 mph off the bat. Destroyed that pitch “That ball had a family!!”
  3. Brandon Belt comments postgame when asked what he has learned about Chris Bassitt in the last few days: “I learned he needs to have more babies.”
  4. Orioles being spanked by the Brewers too. Nice
  5. Or 2022 Berrios…Kikuchi….
  6. Jesus, go to the gym for an hour after the 3rd inning….missed the entire remainder of the game. Lol
  7. Bo solo Jack! Mphenhef+1+1
  8. Kinda felt like Yordan going yard on Bassitt was just a matter of time.
  9. OMG, one of the managers is gonna get tossed tonight for sure. This ump is beyond terrible It's the 2nd inning and he's already botched like 5 strike calls
  10. That's where Vlads brain breaks down. He gets that bad call, then thinks he may as well swing at the rest of them out there if theyre going to be called strikes. He still needs to lay off those pitches, it's better to not swing and maybe get it called a strike than to roll into an easy DP.
  11. Yeah... these f***ing umps can just f*** right off any day. like, I get it if they're right there maybe a whisker outside and the call goes 50/50 ... but some of these are a ball and half of width off the plate. That's not a call that should be gotten wrong as often as it is when you can see daylight between where the ball is and where the plate is.
  12. another sweet Vladdy swing at a ball 6 inches off the plate outside. just f***ing LOL
  13. this guy throws like 60% sliders, just lay off if its away and chances are it's outside the zone
  14. swear to god if Heineman goes deep now... *picks locked*

  17. Well for the Bronx, their air quality index is into the Hazardous range, so they're cancelled for the night for sure.
  18. 4 divisions is even worse. 2 divisions in each league would be preferrable to 4.
  19. He was already starting to slump over the last two weeks
  20. Damn, check out the White Sox and Yankees highlights, played in that smokey haze from all the forest fires burning in Quebec
  21. Mike Montgomery just signed a minor league deal with the Dodgers, and he hasn’t pitched in the bigs since 2020. That’s how thin it is out there right now.
  22. Yeah, I think if guys like him were willing to sign a minor league deal they likely would have done so already. Look at Hutchison, as an example, he just opted out of a minor league deal and he’s demonstrably worse than Archer as of last season at the MLB level. Is Archer even pitching anywhere right now?
  23. Don’t think there is a free agent starting market at this point. Realistically, this guys being DFA to claim, trade for someone or call up your best farm guy that you don’t think will make an ass of himself. Signing any SP straight to an MLB deal would require another DFA, and they’re running thin on those available. Thornton, Jackson and Hatch are the last 3 candidates and they’re already going to need 2 of those for Green and Ryu. Granted theses thing’s generally take care of themselves with additional injuries, but…quite honestly the Jays pitching staff health as a whole over the past few seasons has been remarkably good.
  24. Early top 3 for the AL would probably be Gausman, Eovaldi and… 1 of Framber, Ryan, or McClanahan …even though McClanahan getting votes would really just be him benefitting from the W column, he walks way too many for my money to be considered for the Cy. Id probably vote for 4 or 5 other guys before considering McClanahan even for third place if I was voting today. Side note, how much is Seattle missing their offense right now…they have 3 of the top 9 starting arms in the AL by fWAR, and can’t consistently win games thanks to their offense sucking.
