    I'm not saying you cut him or anything, just stick him in the 'pen for a while to sort things out. This is a pennant race, we can't put up with too many sub par performances. He said he's perfectly willing to pitch as a reliever and he'll be a big part of the team in 2017 either way.

    I agree. All of the off days coming up means 6 or 7 days rest for our starters. I would rather skip Sanchez once and give Liriano a 2 start audition. If he fails, then problem solved. If not, then you reevaluate.

    Consider not wasting your money on synthetic oil unless you travel long distances and don't change it very often. It's unnecessary for most drivers and you can get conventional oil for $10-15 on sale.

    Benoit will certainly get the high leverage innings as long as he performs. This is one of the elite setup men in the league for the last several years and it doesn't look like much has changed.

    That best tools list on BA that buck was discussing also includes EE for best power, JD for best strike zone awareness and defensive 3B, Pillar for best defensive OF, Dickey for best pickoff move, and Gibbons for best manager.
