    Agreed. I don't know how Gibbons gets any blame for this, especially when Carrera and Smoak are both playing quite well.

    Bogaerts will have to move to third in the near future as well. His range at shortsop is very poor and will only get worse.

    Carrera is doing fairly well, so that move would make little sense at this point in time. As for the pitchers, Latos has cemented a spot and Sanchez is back so we don't need a starter.

    I liked Jayson Stark a lot. His columns were always extremely interesting and full of cool little facts that you would never hear about otherwise.

    Buffalo is having a hell of a time getting their games played.

    Baseball is a game of mistakes. I'm not saying that they are acceptable, but we outplayed the opponent and that should be good enough. The umpires decided the game, not our mistakes.

    I hate these sorts of excuses. We outplayed the Angels and the umpires changed the outcome of the game. That's the end of it. Any mistakes that we made have nothing to do with it.

    Here's a quick list of our more legit guys off the top of my head and in no particular order. C- McGuire, Jansen, Pentecost 1B- Tellez 2B- Biggio? 3B- Guerrero, Jones SS- Urena, Gurriel, Bichette OF- Alford, Smith, Ramirez, Woodman, Palacios SP- Greene, Zeuch, SRF, Harris, Perdomo, Rios, Maese, Borucki Many of those guys will switch positions so I don't know if we really have an obvious weak spot. Pitching is still the clear strength with Greene and Zeuch off to nice starts and a ton of depth. Just take the best players really.

    Umpires taking over a game really bother me, but when they decide the outcome of a game, I want to break things.
