I'm not usually too critical of the front office, but the fact that we didn't sign any of the good and cheap relievers this offseason is ridiculous. Injuries or not, turning to Daniel Hudson as your third best reliever is inexcusable.
I can't comprehend why we didn't get more depth. This happens every spring and they just watched guys like Gio Gonzalez sign minor league deals. I understand that he may not have been willing, but a lot of depth pitchers have signed reasonable deals recently and we chose not to sign any of them.
I'd just rather see a young outfielder force their way onto the team instead of being handed a job and flopping. I don't have much confidence in our other CF options right now other than Gruchuk.
I think that we need to see more of our young outfielders, particularly Alford and McKinney, before we deal away KP. His value shouldn't change much between now and July.
I thought that Sheryl Ring was a woman this entire time. I guess I just assumed from the first name. Why would anyone donate to pay for someone's cosmetic surgery?

I usually agree with Shi Davidi, but this is a really stupid article. Does he really think that Borucki won't get innings if he pitches well?
If the young pitchers are performing well then we can find ways to get them innings. It's not as if a guy like Richard or Buchholz can't be moved. What will hurt the young pitchers is if we force them into situations that they aren't ready for by not having enough veteran depth.
I expect that he'll get most of his time at 2B in a timeshare with Schoop, but obviously he will also get time at all of the corner spots. I'm sure they will find 500+ at-bats for him. Nice add for the Twins.
That could be the case and I'm not saying that they need to sign him.
From a fan's perspective, however, the bullpen outlook is worse than it was last year and 2018 Axford would be a useful piece for us as things stand right now.
