Matt Chapman would my number 1 option as far as hitters are concerned, with Kyke Seager as a fallback option.
Getting a real third baseman allows everything else to fall into place for the offense. We can play Biggio/Espinal at 2B and tinker around with minor league deals for the bench, while investing everything else into pitching, which could be as much as 60 million. That might be enough for Ray and a short term pitcher like Verlander, Syndergaard, Rodon, or Scherzer, along with a reliever.
