  1. He looks like he's on ice skates and he's snowing the ump.
  2. Get out of the kitchen, Ohtani. You can't handle that heat.
  3. What a nifty piece of base running that was.
  4. One day Springer is the hero, the next game he may cost us a win with an atrocious at-bat. That's baseball for you.
  5. This inning is over if they have Luis Rivera. I miss Brian Butterfield.
  6. Two of the most futile teams of this generation in one division. Lucky Astros, Rangers, and Athletics.
  7. The Angels' 3-4 hitters are Phil Gosselin and Jose Iglesias. There's no excuses for Matz and Stripling tonight.
  8. On par with Gillick? You can't possibly be serious. He's one of the best executives in the history of the sport. Ujiri isn't even the best executive in the NBA today. At best he's a very distant third behind Pat Riley and RC Buford. I say that with great respect for the job he has done, but the others are far more accomplished and successful.
  9. 3. Prices for pitching were far higher this season and we paid closer to market value for Berrios than one would have expected at the beginning of the season. 4. The Blue Jay's value Berrios more than your average fan and expect more from him than we have seen with the Twins. All 4 of these things could be true to some extent.
  10. Royals giving up runs to the fearsome foursome of Andrew Velazquez, Tyler Wade, Kyle Higashioka, and Brett Gardner.
  11. Why is Payrick Murphy even on this roster? What a disgusting display of poor pitching
  12. I'm not sure if Ryu has ever pitched this poorly in his career
  13. I would prefer a tie after (12?) Innings over the current rule, which changes how the game is played.
  14. So, objectively, late innings in close games are less exciting than early innings in lopsided games. I've had it wrong all of these years. All kidding aside, you're clearly wrong about the excitement level and somewhat correct about the viewership. The root of that problem is the pace of the game and not extra innings themselves. After 3 slow hours, people are ready to tune out no matter what the score is. A faster paced game would retain more viewers for what everyone except you would agree is the best part.
  15. Wow. She's not very attractive at all as far as MLB girlfriends go, but everyone has their own taste.
  16. I'm really not enjoying the pop up ads that come up on my mobile where I have to search for the X. If the forum is struggling for money, we can probably work out something better than this.
  17. Few, if any, people are saying that the rule is unfair as you suggest. The rule ruins the viewing experience for the great majority of fans and destroys one of the best aspects of the game. If you like watching baseball, then gimmicks that artificially shorten the most exciting part are bad. Period.
  18. This game isn't over yet without the extra inning rule. It's the worst thing to happen to baseball in many years Words can't Express how much I hate it and how bad it is for the viewing experience.
  19. I used to like extra innings. Now I hate them almost as much as the pieces of s*** that we are playing.
  20. No PH for Arauz? Their bench must be non existent.
  21. Buck Martinez has an argument for that as well, depending how analytical you want to get about it.
