  1. They say you only remember a fraction of your dreams.. so can you imagine the number of times Mike has scored on you with without you even knowing it?
  2. Speaking of Wilner... are you still having those wet dreams? http://www.bluejaysmessageboard.com/threads/4298-Blue-Jays-asked-on-Papelbon?p=504488&viewfull=1#post504488
  3. Wait, are you serious?? The Giants had Cain, Bumgarner and Vogelsong putting up elite numbers that year and they also got close to 200 innings out of Zito and Lincecum. Not to mention having an elite closer in Romo.... That was a clown post bro...
  4. Any team that out scores the second leading offense in baseball by 64 runs should be considered a "good team" but that doesn't automatically make them a contender. We know that pitching and defence wins championships and this team has two band-aids at the back end of their rotation and the front end is filled with a bunch of mid rotation guys. I don't give a f*** what the run differentials are, this team isn't going anywhere without significant pitching help.

  6. WTF man? Again, no one is saying they aren't a good team. Jimmy boy said they should be leading the AL because of their RD and that simply isn't true. Either way, this team's RD isn't really reflective of their true talent level and it should be taken with a grain of salt. Yes the offense is elite but they're missing a few elite arms that would help them win those close games. They're also constantly making mental errors on defence and the bases and that is not helping the situation. A lot of those problems could be addressed mid season but until then this team isn't a legit contender.
  7. That's not what I'm saying. There's obviously a general correlation between RD and success but at th end of the day the results are all that matters. This team is very one dimensional and they tend to run up the score against weaker pitching and don't have nearly as much success when going up against elite pitchers. They might be slightly better than a .500 team but they shouldn't be "leading the AL" just because of their RD. It just sounds like another excuse we hear too often from the apologists like "we'd be in the playoffs if we didn't have so many injuries".... Alex is on his 6th year on the job and it's time to put up some results or GTFO.
  8. Maybe we should petition to have a second championship handed out for the best run differential in the league. That way all the delusional fans who think we should be leading the league with this garbage pitching can blame luck for our failures and still have a parade and celebrate all them runs they've scored... What do you think Jimmy boy?
  9. Well, according to some Ryan Goins is a top 10 defensive infielder and he hasn't been able to establish much of a floor. So I don't think that theory is valid especially when it comes to a team aspiring to contend. That being said, Pillar is starting to show that he's more than just a one dimensional player. Since making that adjustment and reducing his leg kick he seems to have a much better plate coverage and is showing a great approach for a guy whose potential appears somewhat limited offensively. I'm starting to warm up to the fact that he's a legit major leaguer but still remain a bit concerned that he might not be able to keep up this all out hustle all season long or might possibly injure himself running into a wall.
  10. Pretty impressive catch by Pillar tonight but he's going to kill himself if he keeps being this reckless. Have to respect the fearlessness though... http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/6479266/v191222383/tortb-pillar-makes-sensational-warningtrack-catch
  11. Well, it did fool AA.......... for more than three years!
  12. Million dollar contracts and still begging for free s***... Smh
  13. What "position of strength"?? Hutch is pretty much the only young controllable arm who has any track record of major league success.
  14. Yet, Alex has been on the job trying to develop arms for 6 years and he's pretty much the best they've got right now. You're severely underestimating his value to this team and the likelihood of him being more successful down the road than guys like Sanchaz, Estrada and even Dickey.
  15. Selling low on Hutch when he's still arguably your best starter is as counterproductive as it gets. I'll bet money that Hutch will outperform every other starter in this staff the rest of way (unless he's dealing with an injury that we don't know about).
  16. Do you really feel entitled to an explanation after making such stupid suggestions as sending Hutch down to the minors?? There's "nothing to add the the debate" because it's not a f***ing debate... It's just some random rambling by a drunken fool!!!

  18. Fair enough. I apologize if I've offended you. I don't think it's that outrageous to assume that eyesight deterioration might be a factor but I'd say, based on what I've seen, that a loss in bat speed is a much more likely culprit.
  19. As long as you stay humble!
  20. I think you forgot to login to your BBBB account
  21. Lmao Great insight "knowledgeable poster"...
  22. His approach at the plate is not the problem. He doesn't seem to be able to catch up to the high inside fastballs anymore and he's trying to cheat in order to compensate for the decline in bat speed. Im not sure if it's injuries related but there might be some room for concern if his k rates don't start dropping soon.
  23. So you've only discovered this place in November and didn't know it existed before that?? You're full of s***... I'm sure it will look better than the selfie you've chosen to post as your avatar.
  24. Umm no, the irony here is that this board was created to escape trolls such as yourself who kept getting banned and coming back with a new account and now you are here preaching about how this place should be moderated. Now there is some irony for you!
