    If Jalen comes back and wins that game as a hero, I’m not sure that’s not more valuable going into next year vs jumping 3 spots. Considering everything going on with qb, Coach, team situation

    Personally, as a Philly fan I’d rather have left Jalen in to see how he finished it. Nobody wants to see Bo or Vlad benched at the end of a season to see what some less than org guy can do. Obviously it’s not apples to apples as the season is 162 to 16 but just generally speaking

    I’m not going to say you’re wrong about anything but there’s usually 2 sides to a coin. Why would you bench the guy that usurped the franchise QB? He wasn’t having a good game, sure, but he was coming off a nice stretch of games and why not let him try to win the game and finish on a high note? Sudfeld was a joke. It was like giving Rudy some reps. I don’t think it’s fair to expect players to lose on purpose. As a Coach or the office I can understand playing to lose but I don’t think you can ever expect a player to respect that. It’s a business and a lot of these guys are playing for a job in the league. Teams certainly don’t have loyalty to players (especially in NFL) to the level where a player should toss a game for the team

    Actually I’m rooting for Tampa in the NFC and they happen to be playing the Dreadskins. Tampa’s defense has looked really bad at points, so I don’t really think they’ll get out of NFC. In AFC think I’ll root Bills. KC may be a bit more fun to watch on offense but Mahomes already won his, so Bills the better story

    Bauer’s contract talk leak was just the latest for at least all the major FA where they’re pushing for $$.. as they should. I’m quite confident if Springer wanted to sign 5/125 tomorrow, he could. Same thing for the other guys. I also think the 2nd tier guys are doing same thing. Like Didi or Semien having a reasonable 2 year deal on the table but they want more The chips will all fall soon but the posturing was inevitable, especially with Covid

    The media is shameless. The lead story with big photo on ESPN NBA is an article titled “James Harden Blockbuster is Coming” but when you read it, there’s no néw info and it mostly talks about the Claw trade 2 years ago

    Could’ve made it into the worst contracts in Bluejay (or mlb) history and would’ve been relevant What I find interesting in VW is the risk of giving a 30yo CF (SS same thing) a contract where defensive value factors as decent portion of the deal
