I’d go Riley. Kepler the safer bet of course but pretty much set on what he is at this point (which is meh in 20 team leagues), Still a chance Riley ends up being a guy. Should be noted when he was 25-26 Reyes was projecting to be elite defensively. Couple injuries put that to an end

Don’t sleep on Didi though. Could easily be a 4+ win player for less than $10m/yr short term. But having to move BB off Short would have to factor in obviously

Yeah but asset management- why sell Bryant for peanuts. Cubs haven’t punted season yet. He could play and be near elite again and A) Help them make playoff run or Be a Machado-like trade chip at the deadline. Worst case he’s not good and you can still flip him for same peanuts at deadline.. just will cost some money but they’re not TAM and still a division contender. Yu was sold at high value. His age and money owed just made it where it was risky giving up Top prospects... also 12 team no trade list hampered things I’m sure

Preference I guess. You can have two packages of equal-ish value but may prefer the one with guy with highest upside (Patino) and lesser 2nd and 3rd pieces. I would anyway

Well I think mlb gate rev has always been 30% of total rev. With Covid they started claiming 40. Not sure how all the cooking of the books works but I know Yankees started raking it in when they created YES so I’m imagining Jays make some dough with their situation
