Me either. My issue is I don’t think the team is good enough! Because they’re running it back with the same roster that wasn’t good enough last year. I would like to see a playoff W in my 30’s

“I’ve told you guys” Lmao okay that’s too much I didn’t read any further. Sorry Brownie but you’re not that important
  3. L54
    That’s Jim’s job
  4. L54
I will be happy for you
  5. L54
You could technically say that you’re right, the problem is everyone who hears the word contention anticipates a playoff win is a part of that If they get off to a slow start there will be some tough decisions to be made
  6. L54
No I will be happy and surprised. You and Brown Town aren’t the arbiters of fandom 😂
  7. L54
Obviously neither of them are ok lol

It was more than a sound bite lol He scolded AA for the way he operated and that he would be the guy to show us how it was done. Waves of talent, perpetual contention Now here we are pretending Davis Schneider and a couple of RP prospects are the proof in the pudding Go Atkins!

When should a GM be held responsible for a f***ton of stuff outside of his control?

The Yankees haven’t won the WS since 2009. Why would I want them to be like the Yankees?
  17. L54
    That was leaffie’s point
  18. L54
Okay so it’s not bottom 5 it’s bottom 10. That’s still not good
  19. L54
    Huh?
  20. L54

You see as a fan you’re supposed to just get used to the mediocrity. As long as Rogers is happy with the ROI on their investment Mark and Ross get to keep their jobs. Put together a high floor low ceiling team like the Cleveland Indians who can squeak into the playoffs, get stomped and then throw your hands in the air and say well we tried Then the guys who shill for the giant media corporation and actually cheer for the front office and not the team can exclaim WELL WHAT DID YOU WANT THEM TO dO?? They made the playoffs it’s a crapshoot! Loser mentality tbh. I agree with your take. Jays fans were promised this sustained winner who would bring a WS to Canada. Pipelines of talent blah blah blah. The farm sucks and the only players signed long term are old. Hope I’m wrong but running it back with the slap hitting run prevention squad is going to be an uphill battle
