  1. Yes it’s so cool to be a mid 40’s dude entrenched as a “real jays fan”
  2. Wish they would’ve extended him like two seasons ago
  3. Good one
  4. Eat My Shatkins is a play on words for Tongue Shatkins Fart Box
  5. f*** ya boys Ross has assembled a power house that just took down the best time in the league
  6. Who else? The janitor at the Rogers Centre? The head groundskeeper at the Player Development Complex?
  7. No you are simping, and hard. Have been for months.
  8. Man stop simping for Atkins Wahhhh our mid twenties core is collectively worth 0 WAR. WHAT WAS ROSS SUPPOSED TO DO???
  9. They really didn’t give up that much. Gurriel was a free agent and Moreno had and still has massive questions about his power. He profiles extremely similar to Kiebert Ruiz who has like a 20 wRC+ right now so those guys can go south quick Both C and CF are premium positions and they had depth. Moreno’s post season coupled with the “top prospect in baseball” tag make it seem worse. He was a top prospect because of high floor defensive ability which is fine but I doubt he turns into a legit stud I wouldn’t trade Varsho. Cheap and elite defense. You need some major league players during a rebuild
  10. Probably an organizational philosophy
  11. I said Theo Epstein and Kyle Boddy were a better offseason than the Jays had and it looks like it’s true
  12. I was for the option and in hindsight that looks like a bad idea
  13. My brother in Christ there are only a handful of people in the world who could make this team worse than it is right now
  14. Man all you have to do is hit on a couple draft picks and develop a stud or two and the trajectory changes instantly I know it seems far fetched because this front office hasn’t done it but it honestly shouldn’t be that hard to do
  15. What do we always say around these parts? Bullpens are volatile. So just as often as you turn chicken s*** into chicken salad the pendulum swings the other way
  16. [ I feel pretty neutral on Shapiro. If he stays, cool. He’s done impressive stuff for the org in the renos, player development complex and convincing Rogers to spend so credit where credit is due. And change is good so maybe it’s time the dynamic duo is broken up and Shapiro works with a different baseball mind. I have no faith in Atkins turning this around or leading the rebuild. This is the worst case scenario and I hope you’re wrong
  17. When your roster is full of utility players you don’t even need that 26th spot
  18. Funny isn’t it? I think everyone expected us to turn into a pitching factory but that never happened
  19. Might be unlikely but every series they lose the bunsen burner flame gets a little warmer I wouldn’t care about external optics at this point. Do what needs to be done
  20. Flags fly forever What a ride that was
  21. I’m starting to see a path where Atkins at least is relieved of his duties this season You can’t possibly kick this can down the road. They’re in an awkward spot Kinda like how Baltimore is in an awkward spot too. Except their problem is they have too many good young players
  22. Luis Castillo - Noevli Marte Tyler Mahle - CES and Spencer Steer Verlander - Drew Gilbert and Ryan Clifford Civale - Kyle Manzardo Montgomery - Saggese and Roby Fulmer - Gipson-Long David Robertson - Ben Brown Jorge Lopez - Cade Povich and Yeinner Cano Some of the better deals during the past two deadlines. Obviously they’re not all apples to apples but it shows there is talent to be had at the deadline
  23. That’s why you don’t let Atkins handle the rebuild
